Re: 1st GOP Debate
I didn't see anybody in that debate who I think can seriously win a Presidential election. SHOCKER! The reincarnation of JFK could be running on the GOP ticket and most of the people on this message board wouldn't vote for him because he was a Republican. And likewise the reincarnation of Rea...

Why Does Health Care Cost so Much in America? http://www.pbs.org/newshour/making-sense/why-does-health-care-cost-so-m/ Let me give you three reasons why. The first one is because the administrative costs of running our health care system are astronomical. About one quarter of health care cost is ass...

Re: 1st GOP Debate
She honestly wasn't on my radar but she had a great debate last night, and offered this today: http://journal.ijreview.com/2015/08/246161-im-running-president-will-fix-foreign-policy-win/ Some actual policy to chew on. I promised to roll back the bad deal that President Obama negotiated with Iran –...

Re: Why does the Republican party exist?
I read an article, which of course I can't find now, that graded out the parties on votes and positions, and about 80% of the purported Republicans generally lined up with the positions taken by the Dems. That I don't doubt at all. I don't think Americans are all that different from one another. We...

Re: Poll: Bernie Sanders would beat Donald Trump
We are still ages from the election. It's probably a bad thing to be in the lead now. It's like being up by 10 at half time. It doesn't guarantee a win by any stretch. Trump has a huge target on his back along with Hillary. Trump has been pure entertainment. He has thrown the Republican party into d...

Walking Dead- The Next Generation
It does look good. I guess it was so popular it deserved a spinoff. Hopefully they will air it when the Walking Dead is between seasons.

lol I am without religion and feel mentally and emotionally healthy. I think when some people get older they start to worry about dying and what that means. They hear about an afterlife that religion promises and I think they start to cover their bases by turning to religion later in life. My mother...

Grats Mori! I am happy for you. I feel like I have watched you grow up on this board. We are proud of you. I spent the 4th in Chicago. Went to a couple of festivals and had a great time. I Barely made it home on standby. Those damn dead heads clogged all the flights. My hotel was filled with them to...

Re: Marcus Morris appreciation thread!
I appreciated his talent, but not his demeanor. This is the really the entertainment business. It is important that players play good, but being likable is important too. The twins wore out their welcome in Phoenix. They have none to blame, but themselves. Right before the exciting KJ etc. era we ha...

IMO Libertarians are extra paranoid Republicans and yes it was a knee jerk reaction. In my mind I am still correct. Bush was so unpopular by the end that his own family probably voted for Obama.

People do have to own up for their choices, but I merely point out that outside influences can effect those choices. Maybe racism wasn't handed down to this kid by his parents, but it was handed down by somebody and he gives Earl Holt and places like this http://www.amren.com much of the credit. I t...

What were their comments? What were they talking about? It was obviously a right wing hate site filled with people that hate our government. I see hate filled comments online all the time. You have to say something juicy for them to come after you like that. I didn't see what they wrote listed anywh...

BTW, Dylan the shooter was arrested at a mall awhile back before the shooting sort of casing the place and asking suspicious questions like the number of employees type stuff. The police busted him with that drug Suboxone and the Mall banned him as well. He got in trouble again when he ignored the b...
