Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Westbrook ran onto the floor from the bench in the last game after Gobert got hit between the legs and bumped into him. NBA gave him a fine and a technical. No suspension. Ugh. They should just change that stupid rule. So aggravating for Suns fans to be reminded of that every time it happens again ...

Re: Around the League: Week 26 4/11 - 4/17
I figured it would be the Clippers who would move to Seattle, with Ballmer owning the team and all.

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
LMAO Robot. This part got me to chuckle out loud: Al McCoy once called him "Big Red" after seeing him in the showers by accident during a crafting convention put together by the last Suns Head Coach Earl Watson. "It was great. Big Red was there! I saw more than I expected" said M...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Tonight's games are interesting. Celtics pull out a narrow victory at home in Game 5 over Bucks to go up 3-2. There were a few questionable calls down the stretch, but mostly Milwaukee just blew it. Right now Philly is up by around 10-11 points over Miami in the 4th quarter and looks like they'll ad...

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
We're such a joke. We have one of the best young stars in the league, an up and comer in JJ, maybe the 1 pick if not the 2 pick in this year's draft and guys are turning us down while we line up interviews with Vinny Del Negro and James Borrego. FML. At this point it feels like we are either offeri...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
The funny thing is that OKC will probably keep Melo next year, since he'll opt in for his $28m contract option, while they'll lose the better player, Paul George.

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
As much as I hate Kidd, I would rather have Kidd as coach than Vinny del Negro. But I'd rather just keep Triano than have either of those two guys. Would want Vogel most over the names still floating around, or maybe Fizdale or Koko.

Re: Around the League: Week 26 4/11 - 4/17
It's weird that some people (not necessarily in this thread) think NO is somehow better without Cousins or that their strong performance without him means that they should trade him. The Warriors are playing well without Curry, but nobody talks about trading Steph. The Pelicans will only get better ...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Ah, come on. You fellas know my heart lies with the Suns and that the Warriors will always be my second fave. <3 That's fine Marty. It's your site but we're going to continue to give you s*** about it. <under breath: Frickin' bandwagoner!> So when the Jazz inevitably play the Warriors in the WCf, d...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Watching Rockets/Wolves right now. It's so funny watching the Wolves play all three of Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, and Taj Gibson on the floor at the same time. Classic Thibs. I hope Minnesota can win this one to keep the series interesting. And as a Warriors fan, I want to see the Rockets take more...

Where is Robot to write an article about how the Suns will be interviewing Cotton's corpse for the job? Or interviewing Josh Jackson to be a player/coach?

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
I would not read much into all these names being floated around. Sometimes the agent for a coaching candidate, or the candidate himself, is the one who spreads the word that their guy has "talked to" various teams. They are trying to build up their client's reputation and get people talkin...

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
I'm sad we lost Bud, but I think it's a bit presumptuous to assume that it didn't work out because Sarver was a doo-doo head to him. What I personally think is most likely is that Bud asked to have input into GM decisions and that we weren't comfortable giving him that. Or perhaps he wanted an exorb...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
The argument that Brad Stevens is somehow overrated or not a very good NBA coach is so ridiculous on its face that it doesn't really even deserve a response.

Re: Who would you pick if we (OGW-willing) landed #1?
Or picking Ayton over Doncic could be Oden/Durant all over again... I am pretty sure you're just making a point and don't mean that you believe that this will happen. Oden already had a clear injury history when he was drafted and his legs weren't the same length or something like that. The writing...

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19
I just have a hard time getting excited about Kokoskov. He was here when we were really terrible. He wasn't the head coach, but he was a part of that team. If he were so great, why was our team so dreadful? I'm glad he's doing better in Utah, but we already had him here and got a good long look at h...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Actually might be smart for warriors to lose. They'll win the series eventually, the longer it drags out the more time Curry has to get healthy before facing pelicans. I think the dates of the round starts are set in advance of the playoffs. They don't start the second-round series any earlier if t...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Spurs and Warriors on ESPN now. Spurs down 0-3 and trying to fight off elimination in a sweep. This one should be fun. Nah. Maybe for you Warriors fans. If you can't enjoy Warriors/Spurs, I don't know what to tell you. Two incredibly smart and tough teams going at it. Lots of interesting players an...
