Re: DJT Jr , J.Kushner / Russia meeting scandal
Agreed. But "isn't a good thing" doesn't equal "likely conviction." It doesn't, sadly. I did recently read that grand juries choose to indict over 99% of the time unless you're a law enforcement officer. So there's a very good chance that Mueller has some real evidence of some b...

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
i'm guessing Bender is perceived as more valuable in trade than Chriss (but may not be as useful to Cavs) i haven't seen enough of them this year how would you rate them: value to Suns now -- trade value to most other teams -- potential 1 = D-league, 10 = all star Bender 6 - 6 - 8 Chriss 6 - 6 - 7 ...

Re: DJT Jr , J.Kushner / Russia meeting scandal
If you are being subpoenaed by the FBI, that isn't a good thing. Trump drew his red line in the sand forbidding Mueller from looking into his taxes and finances. Now Mueller is looking into Trumps taxes and finances. Agreed. But "isn't a good thing" doesn't equal "likely conviction.&...

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
I feel like there are 3 camps on this board: A. Willing to trade premium assets (Josh Jackson and/or our own pick) for Kyrie B. Willing to trade for Kyrie if the price is right (some combination of Warren/Chriss/Bender/Miami pick) C. Unwilling to trade for Kyrie regardless of cost I'm in camp B as ...

Re: DJT Jr , J.Kushner / Russia meeting scandal
Mueller has requested a grand jury. This is really big. My understanding is that this means he has enough evidence to support a likely conviction. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/03/mueller-impanels-grand-jury-trump-russia-241303?lo=ap_e1 From the judges I have read, it simply means he wants ...

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
So you would expect a rookie to guard his guy, Kyrie's, and Booker's? We need someone that is not a liability on that end of the floor if we are giving up assets for him.

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Yeah, we're probably better off in the long run staying out of the whole Kyrie sweepstakes unless we are just a trade facilitator in a deal that helps our club. Exactly. Let's find a way to "help" them by making us better, not by taking a disgruntled player off their hands. And as much as...

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Just been reading everyone's input the last couple weeks during the lull period lol but deciding to offer my lil take as I don't think I've seen this angle mentioned. I like Kyrie and as most have said the concern about the fit with Booker is valid and I'm in the not adding in Josh but if we were t...

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
I can't think of a good deal for us with just Cleveland. I don't think a Kyrie/Booker back court will work for us. We may win more games next year, but not a ton more, and certainly won't be on a path to be a contender. I am all for helping them get rid of Kyrie and us change out Bled for something...

Re: Bye bye Scaramucci
I hope so. But CoS usually has to find ways to compromise between differing factions within the White House, House, and Senate, and find a way to keep things working. Generals aren't use to people not having to listen to them. They typically say jump and people ask how high. This will be very differ...

Re: AZ Sen. Jeff Flake unloads on Trump, GOP
It is true. Words are wind. I'm glad some people from POTUS45's own party are starting to be willing to come out against him, though. It's something. The words in that article are pretty strong. Agreed. But they are there to sell a book. And Trump has already come out against Flake pretty hard, say...

I asked a trump supporter (who is also a good friend of mine) about this turnover situation yesterday. He confidently declared that this is actually how turnover happens in real businesses--this is just a sign of Trump's business acumen and outsider mentality. I was shocked. His campaign was the sa...

Re: AZ Sen. Jeff Flake unloads on Trump, GOP
The GOP Senators and Congressmen are starting to break ranks, one by one. First Collins, Murkowski, and McCain step up to stop the health care repeal. Now Flake comes out with an article and book savaging the rise of Trump and the GOP's denial and complicity in allowing it to happen. http://www.pol...
