Bender is taller and a better jumper.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)

So, I have a couple games to watch from near the end of the season when I was in Vegas. Just watched the Atlanta game (Houston win coming up). Here are my notes. The Hawks announcers couldn't stop gushing about Booker. This was his 34 point game. I hope we resign Teletovic. This was the game where ...

Re: Around the League: Playoffs

I'm not convinced McD wants to move anyone. The guards are his creation and he spend dearly to acquire Knight. Easy to see at least one full season of Bledsoe-Knight. Would be more than happy to be wrong. Meh. What if Knight too was Hornacek? I think we can be pretty confident that Bledsoe was McD'...

Re: Around the League: Playoffs

And just this came in, from Arizona Sports via Reddit: "Ryan McDonough (Suns GM) took the fall for the Isaiah Thomas trade, but he never wanted to trade him. Hornacek kept pushing Ryan to trade him." http://arizonasports.com/player/?a=322196 Sean McDonough is Ryan's brother and the commen...

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo987 51m51 minutes ago Hearing Providence point guard Kris Dunn wants to go to Minnesota, will not work out for Phoenix or share medical records. What? Does he not know how much love Coach Watson has to offer? He gives the best hugs! No but in all seriousness this franchise is ...

Weird, that is the Clippers in the West and Cavs/Knicks are a toss up in the East for me.
Lakers, Rockets, Celtics. Have you forgotten your roots?!

Re: NBA Finals discussion

One thing I respect about the warriors. Even though they shoot so much I cringe sometimes, Curry and Thompson don't often shoot their team mates out of the game. Tonight, both were cold and so the rest of the team carried the offense. Credit to Kerr, as well, for sitting his stars for so long in the...

Re: NBA Finals discussion

W's up 84-70 as I type.

Livingston + Barbosa = 25 pts
Curry + Thompson = 14 pts

The warriors have so much talent on that bench.

Re: NBA Finals discussion

Listening to the Warriors home radio broadcast, and the announcers shared that Kerr has just smashed a whiteboard yelling at the team after a 7-0 Cavs run. Presumably for not moving the ball enough on O. Whatever happened, the Ws came out of the timeout and played amazing.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)

Never seen the Spurs, Thunder, Warriors, Cavs posting photos after a spin session. Just saying. You can talk about culture and togetherness and team building/bonding all you want. The results will appear on the court. This is fluff. Of course it's fluff reporting. The Suns aren't a very good team, ...

No, it's pretty special. No other team runs so much offense behind the line, and no other team demands such attention from defenders behind the line.

It would be a mistake to try to imitate them with lesser players. That's how you end up with Brandon Knight.

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

Alex was a much better shot blocker and a much more efficient scorer last season. I hope that with a more stable lineup he will get back to those levels. For half the season, teams would load up on him and Book, and just leave the rest of the team alone. And I think he was less aggressive going for ...

Warriors win it with only 20 2 point fg's made and only 5 ft's made. 45 points inside the line and 51 outside. Holy cow.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)

#4 for Jahlil? Maybe. He's the kind of scorer I would love for the Suns to have, but does he defend/rebound at all? And, honesty, those guys need guards so bad we could probably unload some unwanted players for him.

Re: NBA Western/Eastern Conference Finals Thread

As much as I want OKC to win the series, simply to create a new team from the West, I hate Westbrook. He's an amazing talent but a little slimeball when they interview him. He was asked about Curry's defense after GSW won game 5 and he literally started laughing into the mic for several seconds and...

In his first year with the Warriors he seemed better than he is today. . http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160529/da91f169198ec5c357a2ee9f103526b7.jpg Just a quick comparison between Barnes' 2nd year and TJ's 2nd year.
