Re: Around the League: May 2014

Did you guys see the story where Duncan was ready to be sold on Orlando, but he asked if Wives and Girlfriends could ride on the team plane and Doc said No?

I think Denver could take him at 11, but more likely, Orlando takes him at 12.
This surprises me with Oladipo already there and the projection of Exum to Orlando at 4. Why do you think so?

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

They have said that he's really improved his shot since the season, and has been dominating workouts. When he's been described as Rajon Rondo or Gary Payton, that's pretty high praise.

Hmm, there were reports I heard yesterday that even though they are saying differently, they are looking to trade Kevin sooner than later. (meaning at the draft)

I'm down with this scenario in a big way.

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

We could get both there. Man if you think Harvey Grant is more talented than his kid then you've gone crazy. :D He has at least two sons, right? I didn't really think of him as less talented than Harvey, since I can't remember Harvey much. Would it be safe to call Harvey, the Marcus version of the ...

Did it show Frye and a 1st for cap space and a second? That is what the old Sarver would have done. Gawd, I hope that the old Sarver is dead and gone forever.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

I was only about 30 ft away from where he fell. Mori, you are right, that injury shouldn't have hurt him. It was a huge psychological scar that he couldn't get over. When you are that mentally weak, you wouldn't have last long in the NBA. It could be argued that if he didn't get hurt, kept getting s...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

I really wanted the Suns to get a pick and take Ibaka back in the day, but they didn't listen to me. Capela would be a good candidate for draft and stash.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

From his interview today. It's not surprising. Capela is athletic and he can be stashed in Europe, thus preventing the cataclysmic presence of THREE rookies being added to the roster. Lol. Yeah, I can see that. I'm guessing he would try to get him later in the draft and not at 14, unless he moved up.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

It sounds more like he's thinking of these picks more as assets to improve. He's technically right, that would put too many young players on the team over that time, but I hate to see him say these things and paint himself into a corner while devaluing the picks/assets.
