Here’s my thoughts for tonight…

1. It makes Booker eligible for All-NBA
2. If he plays like last night again it may not matter, he’ll lose his spot.

If Book is our number 1 guy, where would he rate in #1s in the league? Or Durant for that matter?

I keep thinking about that ‘36 unbothered’ social post lately. It would be nice if Book and the boys seemed a bit more bothered by the shit show they have served up too often this season.

It was just one of those nights where they did all the bad sh*t they’ve been doing all season - careless turnovers (early in this case to set the tone for the night), lack of focus/attention to detail, outrebounded, lose the big moments etc,etc. When the game was actually on the line - first quarter...

This game is a microcosm of the season - we largely sucked, didn’t ultimately achieve anything but showed just enough in patches to tease with potential what-ifs. Very, very frustrating.

Just a putrid first half. Poor execution on every level and just let the clippers do whatever they wanted.

Bookmakers have us as clear favourites (at least here in Australia) for what that’s worth. Not sure I see it that way but hopefully they’re right

You would think we definitely need at least one of the games against the Clippers to avoid the play-in. Might as well win this one because I think they’ll be tougher on the second leg of a B2B as I trust them to make better adjustments than us.

This team has zero killer instinct.

Some nice defensive plays there to spark a run for the Suns. I’d like to know our record when we win the turnover battle for the game.

I think the fit of Mobley with Jarrett Allen is a bit clunky, albeit they are both excellent players in their own right.

75 games into the season and have no idea what to expect from this team. Hope for the best I guess.
