Smells like DAJ will be on the move fairly soon. Could the Clippers be a quiet tanker this year?
Gortat is useful for them. Harris is good. Lou Williams is a fantastic scorer. SGA probably isn't ready, but he's a nice fit with Lou. Gallo at the 3, but he'll almost definitely get hurt.

SGA/Beverley
Lou/Robinson
Gallo
Harris
Gortat

That's good for 35-40 wins
That may be the second worst or worst team in the West, though.
Precious Achiuwa, Dalano Banton, Batum, Chris Boucher, Amir Coffey, Tre Jones, Laravia, Mamukelashvili, Tre Mann, De'Anthony Melton, Minott, Nance, Chris Paul, GP2, T. Prince, Reed, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Tate, Watford, Yabusele

Not sure about the trade from Washington's perspective... They're really small. Who do they have at the 4/5 besides Markieff? Maybe shift Porter to the 4, but Markieff can't play the 5...

Wall/Satoransky
Beal/Rivers
Oubre/Brown
Porter/Markieff
???

Exactly. I see a max of 30 wins.

Individually I can see each team being better than them (except Sacramento) but no chance all of LAL/Dallas/Memphis/Phoenix end up better unless they throw in the towel early and lose in purpose.

Ok... wait a second. How many wins do you see the Suns getting then? Because if they don't have DAJ then I like our roster better.

Our top 9 vs their top 9:

Booker - Lou
Jackson - Gallo
Warren - Harris
Ayton - Gortat
Knight - Beverley
Bridges - Robinson
Bender - Montrezl
Chriss - Dekker
Okobo - Robinson
Go Suns!

It's going to be Dallas unless New Orleans doesn't give Boogie his max, in which case he signs in Dallas.

This is basically the same team that won 42 games last year. They flipped Griffin for Harris midseason, but they played about the same level... Do you think going from Jordan to Gortat is a 10 win decrease?

They have Ian Mahinmi and Jason Smith that can log time at C as well as Markieff in small line-ups.

Probably works in the East, though not against Philly

Probably not but those kind of things are not easily quantifiable. They could play better without Bradley (who didn't play great for LAC prior to his sports hernia) and DAJ. The Clippers were 17-16 post trade, so slightly ahead of .500 ball. Still, which roster do you prefer?

Marcin Gortat is not a starter level player anymore. He's serviceable in a 20mpg backup role, but more than that and he's on a team headed for the top of the lottery.

Between ours and theirs? Ours for sure... But that's mostly for future value. I like our talent level..I think we'll still have a lot of youth moments that ultimately keep us from winning more than 35 games... Although my opinion might change after we see what free agency and trades do to our roster.

I would love to see Boban getting 20 minutes per game. Only for entertainment.

Ugh God. A point guard that’s not a great distributor or scorer who wants 15 million per year. Disgusting. We have Shaq Harrison who is a bargain. Those players are a dime a dozen in the G league. I wouldn’t even want him for the MLE

He wouldn't be my preference. I just love his defense next to Booker and his distributing is underrated. He's an unconscionably bad shooter though and we've got enough of those.

I like Beverly, Exum and VanVleet more as fits.
