I think we're eventually waiving Reed, Williams, and Harrison too

PG Knight, Okobo
SG Booker, Daniels
SF Jackson, Warren, Bridges
PF Bender, Chriss, Dudley
C Ayton, Chandler

Two way - King and Peters?

We've got 3 roster spots open, gonna be a fascinating summer as I doubt those 12 gauranteed contracts are all on the roster come fall.
Should be a fun summer for us.

Just no space...can't use up money and a roster spot for someone who could be a backup PG at best...I loved the pick when we drafted him, thought he figure out how to shoot better than he has. Hope he finds a landing spot somewhere.

I think I'm coming around on Aaron Gordon...I think he can be a really nice fit...I don't think Orlando used him correctly and he was asked to do too much there and play too much 3...he's a 4. I'd do a Warren/Chriss sign and trade for him.

I heard that Gordon wants something like 29 million a year right now. I think he is a great player, but thats too much to pay when the team has a bigger need at point guard.

I really liked Ullis--I think he will be around in the league for a while.

I think his max is 25 million...that still seems high, but 20-22 million seems right, not sure that gets it done though.

I'm so glad we're clearing capspace so we can do something stupid with it.

They're doing this a year too early.

Probably, but everyone has capspace next year and we'll have a lot more competition for free agents. Winning next season is the best way to win over potential free agents. Who is our competition this year?

Lakers - Going after bigger fish
Philly - Also going after bigger fish
Dallas - Looks to be after the big men (Jordan, Capela, Cousins)
Indy - Probably our biggest threat
Sacramento - Doubt anyone is choosing them over us
Atlanta - Doesn't want to spend money this year
Chicago - Also don't want to spend money this year
Utah - I think they'll just resign their own guys.

If we sign Gordon to say 24 million and include Warren/Chriss in the trade, that only adds 9 million to our cap next year and we'd still have plenty of space next offseason. Remember, we've got 25 million coming off the books in Dudley/Chandler, plus we could add another 9 by stretching Knight. We can spend some money this off-season and still have space next year.

I'll miss Ulis. This was the first Suns game I had ever been able to attend in my whole life:

Gordon's kinda good at some things but doesn't really excel at anything.

I'll never forget the game winner versus Boston.

yes to your point, Marc Stein has an article out today saying because there are only a few teams with cap space and everyone is looking to 2019 that to don't be surprised if outside of the Bron/Kawhi news if this isn't a quiet summer. so that is good and bad, can we make a smart deal because there will not be any bidding wars or are we just gonna dish out dinero cuz we have :?

Medical science continues to make more progress in prolonging life than in postponing senescence, so you can probably look forward not only to forgetting Ulis’s game winner, but also to forgetting that I told you that you would forget, so I won’t even get to say I told you so.

Aaron Gordon would be an EXCELLENT fit here as a young big man who stretches the floor and plays adequate defense. VanFleet / Booker/Bridges/ Gordon/ Ayton is the sort of line up that would make the playoffs maybe this year, definitely next.
