Not really. Once they traded for Mirotic both offense and defense improved. I had this exact conversation with someone on Twitter who told me it was a bad take.

I think people still overvalue Noel based on his pre-draft hype. He has literally played fewer games and fewer minutes per game in each of his NBA seasons. 3 teams in 4 years and each one plays him less. He's just not good. His best quality is that he's an average rebounder.carey wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 9:00 pmThat really, really sucks for him. It was a bad summer to be a FA but looking over his stats I can't see how he isn't worth more than the minimum. He rebounded well. He was never a particularly gifted scorer. Hopefully next year is a player option and he can get himself a decent contract when everyone has money to throw around again.

Mirotic is a very underrated player. He is one of those players that oils the machine. Everything goes better when he is on the court. It happened in Chicago and it happened in NO.

This is disgusting. Suns could have had him for 1 year/15 million easily. Instead of Ariza.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 7:18 amApparently, Cousins did not get any offer from any team in the NBA, so he reached out to the Warriors.

Pass. He’s too much toxicity for developing Ayton. Boogie is widely known for putting up meaningless stats, cancer in the locker room, and doesn’t play D. We don’t need Ayton to develop that way.JeremyG wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:12 pmThis is disgusting. Suns could have had him for 1 year/15 million easily. Ariza is a winner. He brings heart and skill to our developing wings.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Milwaukee, washington, Portland, OKC, Toronto...those are the teams that should have gone after cousins
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Who knows. On a one year deal he maybe wanted to go to a playoff team. It gives him more time to recover from his injury, bigger exposure and his first playoff appearance. Better chances of securing a big contract next year.JeremyG wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:12 pmThis is disgusting. Suns could have had him for 1 year/15 million easily. Yeah but if it’s true that he had gotten zero offers and eventually came up with the idea of contacting the Warriors...I think he would have taken a Suns offer of 1/15 on Sunday.Hermen wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:31 pmWho knows. True .neter at heart when your first post is slamming a star on another team while pimping a role player on ours. Welcome.Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:18 pmPass. I agree about Cousins. I think he's a great fit for a winning team, but I think he's trouble if you are struggling to make the playoffs.

He says he didn't. They say they did make an offer. I hope we get more details.

Also, I want no part of Cousins, we have Ayton.

DeMarcus Cousins has been out of the playoffs longer than the Suns have.
I wouldn't want him for free.

Pretty good deal for exum...11 million and he hasn't really proven he's a reliable player.
