I think you'll see his assists go up this year... We ran an offense that didn't exactly stress ball movement. And Warren was rarely put in situations to create for others. I'd like to see more creation, but I'd rather see his shooting, defense, and rebounding improve first.

Nice arc on those 3s.
I’d love to see a highlight reel of him only passing.
Hmm. I didn't think you'd be the type that was into unicorns.
I cannot understand why people are so critical of TJ's assist and passing numbers. That is not what his game is. His game is receiving and scoring. If he is passing, he is not being effective. That's like worrying about Steve Nash's blocked shot numbers not being very high. Why?
I don't have the numbers in front of me, but his asst% as it compares to his USG rate is atrocious. Yes, he's a scorer, but with how often he touches the ball, he should average more that 1.3 apg by accident. It can't always be in the team's best interest for him to shoot.

He could pass more (and I would love it if he did), but 38% of his shots are <3 feet away, and he hits a crazy high percentage of them.

If you look at guys that play as much as he does (>2000 minutes) and take as many shots (>15):
#6 in the league in FG%. Behind LBJ, AD, The Freak, KD, and LMA
#1 in fewest TOs.

I don't mind if Warren is a black hole on offense. His role is to score and finish. I just want to see more offensive versatility from him, namely long-distance shooting. ADD A CORNER 3, TJ. That's all I need from him. If he does that, I will be ecstatic.

I wonder if The Athletic is signing him. It seems like they're picking up a ton of writers lately.

Is "Book" really a household name to be used in a rap song? Pretty weird.

This lyric replaces his previous line, "See the shots that I took, chuck like Westbrook."

Why should he care? We’ve already given him a second contract.

I'm pretty sure it's an unguaranteed make good contract.

I was trying to make a joke about Ayton’s “second contract” comment.
