"Biggest FA signing"?! It's Ricky Rubio, for crying out loud. If you can improve the team, trade him.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 4:40 pmThe Suns already have enough trouble attracting quality free agents thanks to the owner and previous management. INF, are there any guys you would like to see the Suns go after at the trade deadline this year? Have you looked ahead to any free agents for the summer?
Re: Around the League: Week 8 12/9-12/15
I still have eyes for Spencer Dinwiddie, and I think Mitchell Robinson might be a better big to develop in this era of the NBA.
The free agent class this upcoming offseason is pretty bare in terms of big time difference-makers; there are modest targets I have in mind.
I still would love to see the Suns bring in Christian Wood.

Yes, Ricky Rubio, the guy who just won MVP of the World Cup is the Suns biggest FA signing since Grant Hill in 2007.INFORMER wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 2:42 pm"Biggest FA signing"?! Kelly Oubre is pretty good.

If you were ranking all of the starting PGs in the NBA, would he be in the top 10? Or is he a middle of the road starting PG?Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 4:26 pmYes, Ricky Rubio, the guy who just won MVP of the World Cup is the Suns biggest FA signing since Grant Hill in 2007.INFORMER wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 2:42 pm"Biggest FA signing"?! Didn’t realize Ja’s shooting splits. Really impressed for a rookie

I still think my dragic, Winslow, and herro trade idea for Booker will help this team get out of it's loser mindset.

Rubio isn't the problem with this team. This team sucked B.R.INFORMER wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 2:42 pm"Biggest FA signing"?! It's Ricky Rubio, for crying out loud. Imagine butler playing with Booker. Minnesota redux.

They are. And I think I am more impressed that he is around a 28% usage rate as a rookie PG with only 3.2 TOs per game on a team with nothing/rookies around him. I mean their most played guys are Crowder and Dillon Brooks.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:47 amDidn’t realize Ja’s shooting splits. Really impressed for a rookie

This team has sucked for nearly a decade. Nobody should be untouchable. If you can make a deal that improves your team, make it.SDC wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 11:20 amRubio isn't the problem with this team. They didn't suck in 2014. That team was one for the record books. Name 2 teams with 48 win record that didn't make the playoffs.Indy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 11:25 amThis team has sucked for nearly a decade. Nobody should be untouchable. I agree NOBODY should be untouchable.
Re: Around the League: Week 8 12/9-12/15
Being one of the bottom half of teams in a conference doesn't make you a team for the record books. true, they didn't suck that year. That is why I said "nearly a decade."
