I don't know what's worse in that Marion picture, the finger or his hair.

My man Ronnie Lott had them amputate part of his finger during a game just to keep playing.

I don't believe that was during a game. He was told he could have surgery to repair and miss 6-8 weeks and he said, what if you just cut off the tip? They said you could play next week. He chose that. Still, pretty damn committed

Jim Otto. One of his teammates said 00's fingers looked like broken bicycle spokes ...

In basketball, Texas Western (now UTEP), a few years after the NCAA championship, had a center missing a finger on each hand ...'guess he pioneered the high four ...

my top 10 best outside shooters who are also SCORERS for their teams (criteria to qualify: above 80% FT, around 40% 3pt shooter, and around 20 points per game scorer)

no particular order

curry 42.4 3pt% 88.5 FT% 24.0 ppg
dirk 39.8 3pt% 90% FT 21.7 ppg
aflalo 42.7 3pt% 81.5% FT 18.2 ppg
thompson 41.7 3pt% 80.0 FT% 18.4 ppg
ryan anderson 40.9 3pt% 19.8 ppg 95.2 FT%
carmelo 40.2 3pt% 84.8 FT% 27.4 ppg
kevin martin 89.1 FT% 38.7 3pt% 19.1 ppg
durant 87.3 FT% 39.1 3PT% 32.0 ppg
lillard 87.1 FT% 39.4 3pt% 20.7 ppg
jodie meeks 85.7 FT% 40.1 3PT% 15.7ppg

11) our own gerald green 84.8 FT% 40.0 3PT% 15.8 PPG

update: if i changed the criteria to around 85% FT, klay thompson and aflalo goes out, GG gets in.
