There are many reasons as to why the Suns could miss the playoffs that don't involve Bledsoe and the Morrii and their new contracts, or PJ's for that matter.
From a global standpoint you obviously want to see the fruit from those deals, but it is perfectly possible that those players live up to what they signed yet the Suns can't crack the top 8 in the west. Dragic and Plumlee are as critical (if not more) to our aspirations as that bunch.
Look at the west this year. Just making the playoffs will be a huge accomplishment. Like I said in another thread. This Suns team could be significantly better than last year and still be under .500.
Dallas is improved. Portland has the horses. Utah has young talent that just has to come together. Minnesota is uber-talented and although very immature, they could really surprise.
I think the Lakers and maybe Sacramento are the only locks to miss the playoffs. And if Kobe is in his historic form (which would be a miracle), who knows about them?
Yes, I've read it, and posted a couple of thoughts. The West is ridiculously loaded, and since some East teams have improved, less wins for the Suns seems pretty probable, but that doesn't need to mean that they are out of the playoffs, or even that the team played poorly. In other words, not a reason to tear apart the roster.

They do a set of ~15-minute YouTube videos, one on every team, counting up from the worst team in the league (Philly) up to the best. They've just posted their first two videos and seem to be planning to do 1-2 per day until the start of the season. Good stuff.

I seriously thought that was an Onion headline. Sad.
I know, right? I mean, God love the guy for being humble enough to carry his own bags . . . but sheesh, you know you have a tricky back, take it easy on yourself, Steve.
I have such gigantic schadenfreude when it comes to Nash in LA. I love that we got 4 (four!!) draft picks for him from the hated Lakers, and that he's essentially been busted his whole time there.
