Pistons on a 11-2 run.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

For the love of god...stay home on Caldwell-Pope in the corner!!

Kieff with the D!!!

Bledsoe should miss this. Pistons have no timeouts

I caught the second half of this one. I though our offense looked a little better. They were passing the ball at least. But it didn't seem like they were really passing to score, more like they had been told that they needed to pass more. Like not many of the passes led to open looks, just to more dribbling. Glad we got the win, but the issues persist.

You praised Warren for making his shot (rightfully so) on a nice assist from Green, then say that Green has no interest in passing the ball. He had what, 4 assists? Should of had more but he got Plumleed.

The heart attack kids squeak one out. Jeez! We were up 8 with a 1:52 to go. Suns turnover, Piston 3, Suns turnover, Piston 3, Suns turnover, Piston 3. All of a sudden we're down 1 with less than a minute to go. Great drive by Bledsoe to go back up one and then great D to finish.

This team just can't seem to hold any lead. No lead is safe.

And when did SVG lose his neck?

So? At the moment in the game when that comment was made, Green was blatantly ignoring teammates on most plays. Are you really going to use an end game box score to criticize a comment made in the 2nd quarter?

This might be worth the 8mil. He just earned some respect from me:
The Suns' Markieff Morris chose to focus on the Pistons' last shot. "Caldwell-Pope got it and you know he doesn't have any heart, so we knew he was going to miss," Morris said. Caldwell-Pope and Morris engaged a second-quarter shoving match that earned both of them technical fouls, which may have been the genesis of Morris' snark. Morris also got the late block on Jennings to help preserve the win.

That would be awesome just for the Kieff KCP issues alone.

LOL, I saw that quote. Seemed surprisingly snippy; players don't often "diss" each other like that. But I wish they did, and I got a good chuckle out of Markieff saying that.

In fact, no - his first touch of the ball was that assist to Warren. But no matter, Green can be frustrating so I understand the Green comments. I just find him an interesting player to watch, even with the frustrating moments/games.
On the other hand I don't really like Tucker all that much and some posters love/like him. It's all good.

I am less offended by Green's proclivity toward shooting because he is a shooting guard. I get miffed by ball hogging more when it is a PG doing it.

I am bothered when Green tries to be a PG.

Just catch it and shoot it, or drive to the basket Gerald. Don't try to think too much out there!

And is anyone REALLY defending Gerald Green's selfishness? I dont think Ive ever seen anyone on the Suns in my 25+ years watching who went to greater lengths to avoid passing the ball.

Can anyone else really think of anyone?

Gerald Green is putting up 27 shots per 40 minutes. That is an insane amount:
