The ebbs and flows of basketball and the opinions on this board. Haven't been watching (traveling) but see Green killing it and nothing but bashing here about his play.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Not much bashing in this thread, just observations about his terrible 1st half play.

24 points in 26 minutes. He must have had an utterly incredible 2nd half.

In other news, a flash of possible good luck on a pick - Lakers up 5 on the Grizzlies at halftime, 51-46.

Pretty similar to his OKC game last year actually.

I only watched parts of the 1st half and most of the 2nd, it looked to me like there was much better ball movement for our offense then games past. Could IT not playing tonight be a contributing factor to that?

No, you weren't mistaken - though Plumlee sucked ass on man defense tonight, there was a much better flow to the game overall.

Yeah, I'm afraid it's time to cut ties with Isaiah Thomas. I'd rather Green be the lone designated gunner, though he's been looking for Len a LOT - both of his assists tonight were to baskets by Len.

I think this team can handle one chucker, but two seem to be killing this offense. I think IT and Green compete with each other on who can refuse to run the offensive plays that Hornacek calls.

I thought Kieff had a pretty subpar game until I looked at the box score:

15 pts, 10 rebs, 7 ast (!!), 4 blk, 3 stl

That he did, good sir! The Nuggets kept pace with us until Gerald's explosion at the end of the 3rd / early 4th. Then it was all over.

I laughed.

Is it weird that I think we should just start sitting one of the PGs every game? Yeah that's weird... I still want to do it.

Sorry if its already been covered, but how come Ennis was not activated for the game? Seems like the perfect chance to give him some run. Would of helped to see whether IT is indeed surplus to our needs. When else can he possibly get court time if not tonight?

Short rotation tonight, seems like coach really wanted the win. But if you can get Tolliver minutes, then you can get anyone minutes.

Good question. Coro thought he would be activated and would be part of the rotation if IT was out. It was not the case.
