I am rooting for holiday to work into the rotation over Shamet. I hope he and Payne can work together to get CP3 a big break the rest of the season.
Payne, Holiday, Cam, Craig, and Mcgee seems like an adequate death lineup against other teams benched.

If the Magic buy-out Gary Harris, he’d be my top target.

Paul/Payne/Holiday/Payton
Booker/Shamet/Harris
Bridges/Johnson
Crowder/Craig/Saric
Ayton/McGee/Biyombo
That's a good call. He's a big upgrade over Shamet.

Regardless, SUns have two exceptions they can use to be active in the buyout market. I expect them to be active there.

Exception just grants salary, we don’t have a roster spot for him.

Nader has been hurt far too frequently anyway. I prefer Ish at this point.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Isn’t Ish a 2 way guy? So I don’t think he takes up a roster spot.

I think it’s Payton or Frank. They’re both Minimum guys.

And Naders contract is not guaranteed for next year.

So I guess they’ll keep whoever they think has a chance to get back this season.

Ya Ish is on a 2-way, he doesn’t take up a roster spot but he also can’t play in the playoffs.

Ish wouldnt be playing in the playoffs even if he could. It's a "Moo" point.

If all Holiday is here for is to keep Chris from playing 40 minutes a game while Payne is hurt, then he’ll be worth it.

As others have said, Gordon would have been nice but I feel like we’re better balanced and better places going into the playoffs, which is good. Buyout market will be interesting as well.

What does everyone think? Bringing Craig back is a fine move. I remember *really* liking Holiday in that draft. Interesting that we're getting him right on the end of his rookie deal when we have Payne for 2 (I think?) more years.
Go Suns!
