They just got punked for 10 minutes straight and have yet to come back from a double digit lead in this series, IIRC.

So basically, this one is over.
Way too soon for that. They will come back and beat them in the second half.

I really need to know what is going on with Chris Paul. He is nowhere near himself.
There’s definitely something wrong. He looks joyless out there.

We are really lucky to be down only 9. This second quarter has been a disaster.
Yup, you’re fault.

Up until about halfway through the 2nd quarter, I liked how things were going. I liked that the Mavs seemed dependent on Luka and Brunson for most of their offense. I think that's the path to victory, to stop all the other guys and force Luka to put the whole team on his pudgy shoulders.

But then everything fell apart. Book and CP3 struggled a bunch with the trapping and doubles and the looks the defense was throwing at them. They coughed up a ton of turnovers that led to easy baskets. Then the Mavs broke it open and other guys like Bullock and Finney-Smith and Kleber start hitting their 3s. That's when the Mavs are hard to beat. I noticed that the Suns took hardly any 3s; they never really found open shooters behind the arc. Hard to win when we are taking contested 2s and turning it over, and they are taking open 3s.

We're down pretty big at the half, but I don't think the game is over. Make some adjustments at halftime and come out and have a big third quarter. We can still do this.

I I feel like the great crunch time stuff might be seeping into thei subconscious a little in a bad way - they aren’t panicked by getting behind (which is good) but also pace themselves a bit more than I’d like instead of upping the intensity at the right time earlier in games

Book only with 8pts
I'm guessing I saw all his buckets, couldn't believe that when it popped up

I seen like 3 misses from Mikal and it's so disappointing. He's getting that pocket pass on the short roll or getting the ball on the wing with Luka closing out more often than not and it's an easy blow by or get to his pull up
The fact he not making them pay for trapping Book n CP3 is hurting us

Luka is not a second half player. He gets tired dragging his overweight butt up and down the court.

We have them right where we want them. All we have to do is make a little run, and they will feel the pressure while we taste the Conference Finals.

Monty is being out coached right now. He has to have something ready for the double teams everyone knows are coming.

I've also seen fair share of offensive rebounds
I think Bullock got one in between 3 guys or something. Crazy smh

Well I'm probably gonna get to watch the 2nd half uninterrupted but can't believe we freaking out so far

Who's making the Game 7 thread?
Not SB
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s see where we’re at after three. I’d love it to be one of those close outs where the home team thinks they’ve got it only to lose at the end. Not looking like that now but you never know.

just no offense that quarter.. we had CP3 and Bismack on for ages and got nothing offensively .. CP3 is a zero on offense right now and a neg on defense, I'd rather have seen Payne driving to the hole and getting blocked. At least if Ayton was on Cp3 could have done a pick and roll game with him .. then bought booker in for his offense... what's Monty doin?

Extrapolating game 3 and game 4 I think you're doomed.

Turnovers at the half: Booker 3, Paul 3, Shamet 2. Mavs team 2.

You don't win championships playing basketball like this.

THERE’S the attitude we’ve been looking for. Sure hope the team has more resolve than you.
