Well, they cut it to a 6-point deficit in the closing minute. Not thrilled with how this game went, but I'm glad they didn't totally give up at the end. Damion Lee had a very nice night with 28 points.
You Missed his last 3 at the buzzer, finished with 31

At least they made it interesting in the fourth quarter.
Nice game by D. Lee, with 31 pts.
Bridges with 24 pts, 6 asts and 3 steals also solid.
Saben Lee with 12 ... played with decent energy.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

OK, I think I made a mistake. Just started watching the TWolves broadcast. First play of the game Gobert rakes Ayton across the arm for a foul. Wolves color commentator says, “Looked like a pretty clean strip right there.” I’m done. Switching to Suns broadcast.

D. Lee is 30. I hope his play this year has earned him a decent little bag. He can be in the rotation on a playoff team. Maybe even a good one. He’s limited, sure, but he’s smart, plays tough and can shoot it.
Go Suns!

Ayton looking like a real star today.
Man, saw this as I was starting to watch the game thinking you were being sincere. One of his worst games ever. Just going through the motions. He was questionable all right.

We always said we'd take less points for more impactful play - effort, focus, sustained energy. He's gone back to 2018 DA. The jumpers are just laziness at this point. They're a cop out for him.
Every shot was on a rope. I’ve been saying this forever. How can a professional basketball player not try to fix this?!

I know we have a lot of Ayton haters and alot of Ayton apologiists here. Hopefully this game illustrates that he ain't "the guy." He ain't the second guy or even the third guy. I wish him the best somewhere else but he's the weak link here.

Ayton was disappointing tonight. But did we really learn much of anything? We're missing half our team. Not defending Ayton or saying we should keep him. I'm just saying, these games are garbage, they're throwaways. I don't know if they are telling us anything meaningful, other than we can't win with 3 starters out and multiple bench players out.

Inconsistent as hell. Mentally weak.

Yes, we learned a ton. He went through the motions because we’re missing half our team. That tells you a lot. This instead of being “the guy” and imposing his will. The rest of the team showed their heart as they tried to claw back and got close. Ayton showed his true colors by not caring and going through the motions.

Cannot wait to see Jeremayton spin this shit lol.
Lol. He had a bad shooting night. On a bad ankle. Simple as that.

I said before the game they shouldn’t let him return until at least Monday. They showed him literally rehabbing his ankle while on the bench on TV. EJ noted that he wasn’t getting good lift off the ankle. Even Monty said: “He should be given some grace.”

But you guys have to turn everything into a conspiracy theory (“this is his trade request”), like he was missing his shots on purpose. Lol. DA does not want out and the team does not want to trade him. And they literally can’t trade him under the current ownership circumstances. January 15 has no significance for James Jones.

I only caught the final 15 minutes, but even though the box score looks rough I’d probably agree a little with Jeremy here…I’ll cut him some slack on the first game back when maybe he came back too early.
