Suns mailed it in at the half no doubt. That's on Monty.

Hahaha Grizz are stupid, you have to foul within 1 second in that situation.

The officials sure made their best effort to give the Grizzlies a chance to win at the end.

They just started playing not to lose and lost their agressiveness. And you can't play that way against a good team and not expect them to come back.

Did anyone really expect the Grizzlies to not fight back into the game? This is the modern NBA.

You play for a steal/turnover and then foul right away if you don't get it. Of course the Suns coughed it up, but too late for Memphis to do anything with it.

You knew the Grizz were going to hit shots and get close, but I feel like this was back to being CP-esque close win where he slows it down trying to burn the clock for the entire 4th which lets the other team get going and keeps us out of rhythm.

Big game for Dario off the bench and he helped close it out. Nice bounce back game from TC. CamJ was a little rough but had a big 3pt play late. Shouldn't have been as close as it was but glad we got 3 in a row.

SUNS WIN! YSMF! Feels so good to stick it to this cocky ass Grizzlies team. Suns just about gave me a heart attack letting the Grizz back in it in the 2nd half.

The Grizz are a weird team. When you watch Morant out there, you can tell right away that he's special. But they seem just as good when he's on the bench due to their strong guard rotation and overall depth. So he isn't a guy like Jokic where the team stinks when he's resting and that's when you can attack them.

Torrey Craig was awesome tonight with 20 big points after being mostly a non-factor the other night. Cam Johnson had a bumpy second game back, missing all four of his 3-point attempts, but it's still really good to have him out there. Dario Saric played a great overall game, using his high bbiq to overcome his plodding lack of athleticism. You can have him out there in crunch time and totally trust him to make good decisions. The Suns need guys like that. And while Bridges didn't shoot it well (8-21) I like seeing him step up and take a bunch of FGA when Book is out. Somebody needs to do it.

You add Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, and a few other guys to this roster and this just might be a really good team...

If only we would go to DA as much as we went to Landale in the 4th. :P

I accidentally kicked my cat in celebration when we won and he won't stop hissing at me! Bout to throw him outside!

Great, great win by this team. Who needs Ayton and Book....:)

Seriously though, we once again showed our heart and fortitude against a good team and got another much needed win. When we are fully healty and these fill in guys if you will can continue to play like this, we can beat anybody in this league I firmly believe that.

Enjoy it friends. On to Tuesday against the horrific Hornets. Let's keep em that way lol.

A win is a win. Would it have been nice for the blowout to continue into the second half and save us all a bit of nail biting? Of course. But this is the NBA,every win is precious, no matter how you get it.

What are you talking about, he led two fastbreaks in a row! :P

He played much better than our two centers. Perhaps he should be starting while DA is out.

We are 2.5 games from the #4 seed and 2 games from the #13 seed.

We are 17-7 at home and 7-17 on the road.

Still 8-0 in the pacific division haha…

I think what this came down to was some hot shooting from us(especially CP3) in the first half, that kinda corrected on us later(CP3 and Mikal weren’t making shots most of the 2nd half) while the Grizz did the opposite. That and Ja really knows how to get foul calls…also we have a lot of bigs that don’t know how to defend without fouling. That’s one thing you can say about DA, he’s not playing a lot of defense this year, but he’s much better at not fouling than are other bigs.

We held on and I’ll take it. I’m actually feeling kinda decent about our teams chances now? That’s weird and I know it’s probably mostly a feeling of the moment, but we seem to kinda play Memphis and GS well. Mikal on Ja is actually a pretty decent matchup for us and if DA ever decides to get into gear, he can keep Adams off the boards and contest Ja without fouling. I kinda feel like we could take Memphis in a series.

I’m still worried about New Orleans the most though. Denver also is just playing so good and I’d rather just not play Dallas too. If we could get like a 3-6 or a 4-5 matchup against Sacramento and then see Memphis in round 2, I like our chances.

Now go get something for Crowder and make this a more complete team.

Ha ha. Wow. Welcome back Chris Paul. And in true Suns fashion, we have to sweat it out until the very end. I guess the Suns got tired of every game against this team being a blowout.

Did I miss something? Surprised Lee isn't getting more time in the 4th.
Yeah. Cam Johnson and Chris Paul are back.
