That’s fair. It makes me wonder too. Felt like to me Monty tried playing the better offensive guys hoping Denver would guard them. Denver still didn’t and Booker couldn’t save us with a ridiculous 80% shooting game in this one.
I actually appreciate that Monty tried different things. I am glad he tried using Warren and Ross. I thought he adjusted well to switching between Landale and Biyombo. Of course, none of us agree with how he uses Shamet, and I don't like how quickly he discards Okogie and Craig from the rotation, but he did make some adjustments throughout the postseason, despite what some might say.

Book didn't look right since he hurt his foot last game. I'm sure he doesn't want to make excuses, but it is what it is.

Also, Ayton, CP, Monty, whatever. Just please don't make me watch another minute of Landry Shamet in a Suns uniform again.

Just when I thought he had finally made that next step of being a legit superstar who can carry a team in the playoffs, we ended up with the same result. :(

The best part of this game was that I had to miss the 4th quarter to compete in a Teachers Day competition. Look at that fool under the basket thinking there’d be a rebound off of my 3-point jumper. SMH.

I'm not convinced Durant was fully recovered from the rolled ankle either. He hasn't been quite the same since that.

Well it looks like Monty might be gone. I don't know how he stays on after 2 postseason endings like that. Maybe he gets another year with Book and KD and a revamped roster. Maybe Ishbia cleans house and starts taking advice from Isiah Thomas (part of me hopes this happens so people can remember the good times with Babby, Blanks and McD). The silver lining about this loss is that we get to see some old friends pop up who haven't been so active throughout the year. Glad they were able to take the time out to talk some shit and victory lap over the coaching, front office and roster.

Nothing to really say about the game itself. Book was playing hurt, KD hasn't been right since he got here, DA is DA and CP is old. Monty was grasping at straws with the lineups and rotations while the Nuggets are a well-oiled machine at this point.

I mean he looked fine against the Clips games 2-5, and in game 4 of this series.

I was a little critical of him in the series news thread, but props to Jamal Murray. He got banged up in game 5, was sick before game 6, but really gave a strong performance.

If he really was then that means he’s hurt every playoffs. That’s why I was scared about giving him the supermax extension, but of course we had no other choice.
