Doc Rivers is a better Suns GM than Lance Blanks ever was.

Don't kid yourself, depending on what we give up, a healthy Carmelo Anthony would make us very very good. However, he has one of the 8 no-trade clauses in the league. His wife works in NY. It's not ever going to happen.

That would be the worst influence I could imagine.

Though it sounds like he's still pretty injured.

I don't think this small trade implies any other larger moves to come. I think McDo just likes collecting assets. He's just taking advantage of teams needing to dump interesting prospects, a little like what we did with Brandan Wright. At some point, McDo may package 3-4 assets to grab something exciting like a superstar, but I think it's more in the Morey mold of just grabbing as much interesting talent as he can.

Calm down, it's a real GM "insider", we all know how reliable they are with their "leaked" info.

Sorry v9, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. An ideal starting power forward to me averages double figures in rebounds every night and has go to moves down low with his back to the basket..Markieff only has 1 of those 2 features.

Bullock doesn't make any sense for the roster, but getting ANYTHING for Shavlik Randolph is freaking incredible.
That is true. I wouldn't have blinked if they cut him after getting Wright.

I agree. He's just churning the bottom roster for better assets. So far Bullock and Wright have been good roster pieces to add for Shav and 2nd round picks from Minnesota.

I agree he isn't ideal, or excellent as a starting PF. But I would say he is in the top 10-15 if you look across the league. He isn't in the list of PFs you build around, but I think he is a great compliment (especially if you have a strong rebounding team already).

And I looked this up to punish myself, but there are 62 guys in the league that rebound more than anyone on our team per game. And that excludes all of the guys that aren't eligible to win the aware based on games played. Ouch.

Regardless if Bullock plays a mintue for us, its another fleecing by Mcdonaugh.

To get anything for SHAV's corpse is gold. Just stock piling those assets.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

What we should of done was cut SHAV and signed Jermaine O'Neal.

Then time traveled back to 2004.
