Crazy idea...

a. Wiz negotiate a buyout w/Chris, he retires.
b. Suns hire Chris as a bench coach for this season, works on his health for the season.
c. Coming season, Chris unretires and joins as the second unit PG.

Just an idea...

Can’t wait to see the reactions to Torrey Craig on a max contract! Lol.

And by the trade deadline, we’ll have 8 superstars on the roster. Mat found the cheat code.

Well we only have early bird rights on Craig and Landale so they can sign for 105% of the average salary, which would be about 11 million a year. Bazley is the only player we have full bird rights on.

Everyone else can only sign for 120% of their previous salary, which for the vet min guys is about 2.2 million.

Biyombo can sign for up to 11 million as well.

He's trying to overpay our own free agents in order to use them as trade chips later. So I said by the trade deadline we'll have 6 superstars on max contracts. ;)

It’s going to be so fun watching half the fanbase meltdown when we keep him yet again.

I can't see Smart being part of discussions. He's so ingrained in the Cs identity. He's like their Haslem. Horford is kind of like that too but less so.

If it's Boston I want Brogdon and Williams.

If it's Orlando I want Carter and Fultz.

But I doubt either of them want to make those deals. And that's why you can't sell low on players. Better to trade them a year too early.

I'm not going to meltdown. I only want to deal him for a decent return. Not interested in a pu pu platter.

Guys, Ayton can bring us someone like Smart. Please don't overvalue Smart. Plus Boston needs a fresh bigman like DA who can score and contribute after AH is gone...

Yep, but the Suns wouldn’t give them Ayton so they’re pivoting to Porzingis.

So Boston will be out of the running for Ayton. I think the next chip that falls will be Dame. Blazers are gonna pick Scoot and not flip the pick for another star to pair with Dame. I wish we could peel away Sharpe from them in a package for Ayton.
