Surprisingly Camara caught my eye on NBADraft.net's Top 100 List. He fit as a older prospect with defensive versatility but I wasn't sure we'd go mid-major like Dayton. Kobe Brown went earlier than I expected and Keyontae Johnson and Jalen Wilson went right ahead of where we were picking. Camara fits the bill tho as we won't need as much offense but hopefully he can play up to the next level of talent. The energy and lateral footwork should translate. 6-8 w/7-1 wingspan, can guard on the perimeter and some smaller 4s.

I don't really follow the draft class before draft day, outside of the top 3-4 players or so. And especially with the Suns not having a first-round pick. But I kind of like Camara. Seems like a very James Jonesy player, similar SF/PF size, decent handle and good shooting. And seems to be a bit older and more mature, more likely able to contribute within the next few years. Not sure whether he'll be a guy who cracks our rotation, but we do need guys like that on the roster.

Big frame with nice shooting mechanics.

Hmmm
Well if/when played he surely will be getting wide open looks so would be decent if he's solid when getting to set his feet like in these clips. I also saw something about his % improving every year.

This was actually the first highlights I saw and intrigues me more than the shooting to be honest. These college clips can be tricky but to me it looks like he moves his feet well and his timing should be able to be translate to next level

No we got a Camera, so we’ll have photographic proof to show future generations our last draft pick that we ever made!

I'm very happy with Camara. Looks like he will be a good defender and make good reads on simple plays. Shoot when he's open, attack the closeout, dump off to a cutter if the defense rotates. That's all anyone will get to do, so I'm glad we got a guy who specializes in that stuff. This is the best I've felt about a late 2nd rounder in a while.

More Cam Johnson than Torrey Craig to me.
Why do you say Cam? I don’t know anything about him and have only watched the videos in here, but I’m getting more Craig vibes…his shot even reminds me of Craig(albeit lefty). Cam J was probably a bit quicker moving his feet defensively than Craig and Camera seems to be pretty quick in that regard as well.

I think when I think of CamJ I think of the jump-shot first and foremost and this guy doesn’t have that.

Cam Whitmore falling
He wasn't good this year. I think he was living off of some hype from his high school years, but I wasn't impressed when I watched Villanova. I couldn't understand why people had him going in the lottery.

Jamie Jacquez is such a Heat player.
I'm surprised he is getting drafted in the 1st round. But in general, I don't think the first round talent is that good this year.

I pulled the trigger a bit early on that. I was just looking at his size and spot up shooting.

It's almost always a safe bet to take a power 5 conference POTY in the first round. Except for Alando Tucker.
