Goodwin, Bullock, Warren, Ennis are in no-man's land. They're way too good for the D League, and not good enough to crack the rotation.

By coach's decision, Suns swingman Gerald Green did not play for the first time in his two seasons with Phoenix. Hornacek said it was not predetermined that Green would not play but it worked out that way with Dragic and Bledsoe thriving and P.J. Tucker and Marcus Morris taking their turns on defending Butler.

"We have a lot of guys that can play," Hornacek said. "I thought Goran and Eric going up against Rose and Butler and these guys was just a better match and they were playing 40 minutes. There are only so many minutes out there. We just went with the shorter rotation. Maybe tomorrow, it's his night."

Green, often visibly upset upon being pulled from games, remained encouraging and relaxed throughout the game and took a spot on the end of the bench. The Suns said there is no discipline or trade reason for the benching. Green could be in store for a large role tonight at Golden State.

This is a weird season. I wish we just had 8-9 guys we played each night who knew their minutes, their roles, sub patterns etc.

I don' t know about Arch and Ennis but i think Warren and Bullock can play. We just have vets and guys with contract on the roster who we need to play before them.

Gotta thin the herd at some point or no one is going to develop like they should. Gathering assets for a big trade is fine, but you do eventually have to make a trade or commit to your best prospects and let others walk.

That would be an interesting poll. If you had to commit to 10 players and let the others walk, on this roster, who would you keep?

Bledsoe, Goran, TJ, Len, Ennis, Goodwin, Wright, Bullock, Tucker and reluctantly Keif. I'd like to go young and devlope. Rely on picks and what we can get from the team that was traded. Here's my take, we are in limbo with a chance to make the playoffs, we won't make any noise, but we can make them. But I think that giving the youngs a chance to see court time is important for them to understand the game and how fast it is. I'm not sure that there is a better way to learn, for them, in this case.

Ugh, does it have to be 10? My number would be considerably less.

Len is my number 1, no question. Dragic is my 2. Other than that, very little excites me.

Len. Would prefer to keep Dragic. Maybe Bledsoe.

Please get rid of (in this order): PJ Tucker. Isaiah Thomas. Gerald Green. Both Morri.

Don't really care: everybody else

For me it'd be Len, TJ Warren, and Dragic.

I like TJs potential but I'm worried about his desire. My third guy right now would be Green. I know, but still.

Len, Bledsoe, Goran, TJ, Ennis (yes), Wright, Keef. I said 10 because of pt, but a rotation of 8 would be ok.

We can trade IT, Green, Marcus (I am forgetting about them being twins at the moment), Tucker, Plumlee and anyone else.

I was just thinking how similar our guard line up is to the Bad Boys Pistons.

Isiah Thomas (6-1)=Goran Dragic (6-3)--scorer, ball handler, team emotional leader
Joe Dumars(6-3)=Eric Bledsoe (6-1)--Excellent defender, ball-handler, scores and passes too
Vinnie Johnson (6-1)= IT (5-9)--Shooter/scorer without a conscience off the bench

All we would need to do to complete the package would be to add clones for the following:

Dennis Rodman--Faried?
Adrian Dantley/Mark Aguirre--TJ Warren? (SF who can post up and score creatively inside)
Bill Laimbeer--No clue, rebounder, defender with an attitude and shoots threes
James Edwards--journeyman center, Alex Len?
John Salley--Brandan Wright

Nothing. I was in the wrong thread. Was really tired last night and that was me giving up on this iteration of the Suns. I can't take all these losses in the last second due to sloppy execution and bad decisions. We have to have the dumbest roster in the league.
Go Suns!

It's part of the growth process. It's understandable being frustrated but we're still a relatively young team with not a whole lot of big game experience. The Grizz are...well....grizzled.
