I'm with you. I don't think they do that though, and it doesn't seem like Ishbia has any interest in that either.

There isn't a trade that doesn't make sense for the Suns to accommodate that move. Jacquez is a must, but after that there isn't much that would be available that could help the Suns.
Heat wouldn’t do it but I’d gladly take Bam and Jovic who would be a major upgrade for us.

If Miami wants to give us a godfather offer for KD, I absolutely take that call. But I'm already on record as wanting to blow this team up.
The question is, who ends up with the bloody horse head in their bed? Obviously, Suns.

As much as I'd love to have Myers, you'd think we'd figure out hiring the GM first before hiring a new coach. You could end up hiring a Coach that doesn't even fit the new GM's vision and potentially giving them one more thing to undo later. That tells me that the GM position is already figured out.

I don't know who'd come to just oversee Jones as the GM without assurances that he can fire Jones if he doesn't like how things are going. Seems odd

It's likely a two-step process to oust James Jones. First put somebody above him who can overrule and undermine him; then later let Jones go for not seeing eye to eye with his new boss.

If that person is Myers, I support it. If that person is Isiah Thomas (more likely), I do not.

James Jones already knows the writing on the wall. I imagine this is word he is being passed over and his time is short.

Apparently Gambo has shot down Isiah Thomas being the guy.

That tweet is false. Sarver was suspended when Jones was promoted. It was, at least officially, Sam Garvin that promoted him to President of Basketball Ops.

Also, you think the big 3 are playing more together next year? Pfft, fat chance. It will be less than 25 games and predict one of them out for an extended time… like 3-4 months. Probably booker. This is literally the definition of insanity.
In terms of availability, this season honestly was as good as it probably is going to get. The Suns were able to finish the season with the Big 3 all healthy, and that carried over into the playoffs. That's really all you can ask for. You're only going to get about 60 games out of each of these guys. And Durant played 75 games! If the Suns are banking on better health next year as a key to success, they've already acquiesced to defeat, in the words of the legendary Pai Mei.

I don't know if that applies here. There aren't a lot of available candidates, let alone qualified ones. Who else were the Suns going to hire to coach three superstars?

Lord I hope you’re right…. I’d be happier than a pig in crap if they could snag Myers.

I don't mind him as the third center, but we all know that's not what we're going to get.
