But the biggest thing is he’s really good with guys off the court. We did a whole bunch of team activities.
Sounds like Earl Watson.

I wonder how Durant is going to get along with the new coach if Bud doesn’t mind keeping people accountable and yelling at them. That seems like that would rub Durant the wrong way with his fragile ego.

Still no word on the presser?
James Jones and Mike Budenholzer are both at the combines in Chicago.

You could probably expect in announcement after that's over.
Out there seeing who wants an average pick in a bad draft. Wonderful time to have a pick.
Well, we know from personal experience it isn't JUST about position...look at DAynton...

I'm happy for Coach Bud to be joining our team, but I don't think I can quite bring myself to watch that whole thing. Anybody got any summary or highlights?

I like what Bud is saying a whole lot more than Vogel last year. The vibes are just better, he sounds smarter. Interested to see who he adds to his staff.

Wow. He was so emotional! Crying several times. He looks much healthier too.

Also, the first half of the video is just folks getting situated so fast forward.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Hard for me to get excited after watching this group over the past season. Hopefully Bud can get the guys to buy in but I just don't know. Like he said, at his own press conference no less, talk is cheap.

Interested to see what they do about the PG spot. I'd definitely be open to Cam Payne coming off the bench.

I just started watching. First thing is everybody mispronouncing his name (it's bud like from a flower or Budweiser) including McCoy and Jones (the only people other than Bud to talk so far.) It was cool to see Mike worship McCoy.

ETA: I may have been led astray. Bud himself pronounced it the way we've always heard it when introducing his dad.

ETA: OK, he just addressed the pronunciation directly. He says it bood but you can also say it bud but he'll probably get in trouble when he gets home. Apparently, it's a long story but it sounds like bud was the original correct pronunciation by which his father goes by.

Threes are really important to Bud's offensive philosophy. He's going to work with the team on that understanding and execution. That and pace and pressure defensively.

I never listen to those presentations, but I'm impressed how good of a communicator Bud seems to be. I didn't feel that with Vogel.
And he's so happy to coach the Suns, it's telling how bad were McD/Sarver if he choose Milwaukee over Phoenix the last time...
