It's Stephen A but I think most of us would say this is accurate. KD is a drag, never happy no matter where he is.

It's fucking up my favorite players mojo too, I'd be ecstatic if we traded his sorry 50 mill a year havin' ass but that's not happening.
Oh come'on, this is Smith's stirring trouble for clicks and attention...he needs to go suck an egg...

I know it's the offseason for us, but pondering trades between the Suns and Cavs is an even higher level of pointlessness than the typical trade banter.
Cool. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure it will have a big impact on future posts.

Great. The top strategy guy is going to come in and tell the owner it’s not a good idea to trade away four firsts, nine swaps, and six net seconds in one year, not to mention paying a guy $31M for one year of coaching, if you’re not assembling a juggernaut. Uh… too late.

Eubanks’ defense was worse than I thought it would be and he’s not a good defensive rebounder.

He just doesn’t have a good feel for the game. It’s not about getting him the ball late in the clock, it’s about getting him the ball where he has to make decisions on the fly. He’s limited to catching and finishing and he hurts our spacing because the defense knows it.
A lot of that is just poor offensive sets though. He is drifting in the mid-range when he shouldn't be. He shouldn't be used in DHO.

I don't really agree with the decision to take his and Nurk's green light to launch threes. If we don't waive Eubanks, I think you have to try to leverage that undeveloped part of his game. Otherwise, just keep him in the dunker's spot or have him dive off of every screen.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

TIL that Eubanks is .383 from 3 in his career. I had no idea.

Admittedly, small sample size. 18-47 total. 3-3 with us.

Eubanks becoming a three point threat wasn't on my bingo card.

This gave me a laugh. Sure, seeing OTHER teams doing well is good news for the future of the Suns.

Yea and the current Suns roster is as deep with young, athletic, defensive players just like Indy, Boston, Dallas and Minny.

We had a significantly better defensive rating this year than Indy and Dallas

Yeah I don't have a huge concern on that end, it's the offensive utilization of the talent. Defense will be just good enough imo.

Absolutely better than Indy, but they had the second best offense in the league. Way ahead of the Suns. Shel's only brought up defense, but those athletic guys help them create transition chances.

The Suns didn't have a significantly better defensive rating than Dallas after the deadline. They were basically equal in February and April, and Dallas was quite a bit better in March. Overall, the Mavs had a better defense than the Suns for the second half of the season (and playoffs, obviously).

Bobby "Listen" Marks always makes me believe that anyone could work in a front office because I never seem to learn anything from his commentary.
