Me too, I think MKG at worst is a lateral move from Tucker.

INFORMER wrote:That's not answering the question. Of course they're all different players. The point is, with second pick in any NBA draft, you want to draft the second best player in the draft. If MKG turns into Tony Allen, that's nice and all, but that's not what you want or need with the second pick in the draft.

My entire point when I first broached the subject was that drafting MKG at that spot was a mistake. I'm not saying he's going to be out of the league or that he is completely worthless; I'm just saying it looks like Charlotte made the wrong the decision, and I don't think MKG is going to or can do anything to change that conclusion.
I wasn't dodging the question. I meant that I think MKG has a chance to have a better career than Beal.

That's pretty funny, but coming from Gilbert Arenas? Atleast Hibbert is still in the NBA (for now).

Hibachi!
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

He may not be playing in the NBA anymore but he was the third highest paid player this year. Brutal.

That's saying a lot, 'bazz. Right now they're not even on the same planet, and that's saying something seeing how they were both one-and-dones.

Glad Hibbert had a decent game.

Where the fuck was this Gortat the last year he played for us? Damn. Dude is taking it to the rim with authority all of a sudden.

Inf weren't you were jocking and defending MKG and his 2nd pick status hard to me a year ago?

Already admitted to it in this thread. And that would be two years ago.

Gortat's monster slam in the first quarter was a thing of beauty. He got to the rim from way out.

Where was Gortat that year? I don't know, where was the rest of the team? Where was our management? What were our schemes and plans? Gortat suffered through it (and from it) just like the rest of us. He would have had the same renaissance as the rest of the team, this season, under Hornacek. He wanted to be on the team. We dumped one of our most valuable players / assets to get rid of scrubs we should have never had on the team to begin with.

Wow, what a meltdown by the Wiz. Anybody else think they would have been better off with their second unit to end the game?

And maybe one of the worst was signing him in the first place. I can't believe how many teams gave him second, third, and fourth chances. The guy was a disaster.
