Good question. I'd been wondering too. Presumably his role was safest amongst all rotational regulars, and that even includes Kawhi (nobody knew beyond doubt what might have happened to Kawhi once his offensive burden increased). Earlier in the season I watched a couple of Spurs' games, and Danny Green still had the same responsibilities on both offense and defense; play above average defense on the opponent's second best wing scorer, get the odd weak side block and steal, run the break, space the floor, and hit the open threes. But he's just not hitting them anymore, and that can't even be blamed on minutes or rhythm.INFORMER wrote:What is going on with Danny Green?

So I guess it's just gotta be mental, right? If it were just a shooting slump, his impact on defense should not have regressed. Maybe he is a bit like Batum from last season?

Do you really think that matters? Do you really think there is substantive or effective leadership at work on this team now?SDC wrote:who becomes the leader of this team after mcdo dumps chandler?
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Wow, shooting only 33% from three. That could be a real problem come playoff time.INFORMER wrote:What is going on with Danny Green?
