So handsome people just run randomly run him over with a car.

Seriously though, that sucks. I hope he can quickly recover.

Assume he did since it’s 2021 😛😂

Edit…. Didn’t see the previous post. Geez… poor guy.

That's really terrible, and he was off to a great start this season. I hope he recovers quickly.

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.

If it happens again, we have to find out who’s behind it.

That really sucks for Oubre. He was having a good start to the season for Philly and helping them not miss the departed Harden. I hope he'll be okay and can get back to 100%.

Ya really too bad…I hope he can get back quick…I know Oubre doesn’t have a lot of fans on here, but I still think he’s a solid player in the right role. A steal on a vet min deal.

Yeah, this is horrible. I can't believe this isn't the first time he's been hit by a car. I was always a fan in spite of his bravado. I mean a little less so when he wouldn't play in the bubble and was supposedly healthy. But I would never wish this on him and he was playing great and hitting 3s at a very high clip.

Also, what kind of complete scumbag does a hit-and-run? Ugh. I can't imagine being the kind of person who just does that and is able to live with themselves for the rest of their life.

I can’t imagine being the kind of person who votes Republican, yet half the country does. Our imaginations are sadly limited.

Very true. I hope a camera caught the asshole and he gets some jail time at the very least.

§ 3742. Accidents involving death or personal injury.
(a) General rule.--The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury or death of any person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident or as close thereto as possible but shall then forthwith return to and in every event shall remain at the scene of the accident until he has fulfilled the requirements of section 3744 (relating to duty to give information and render aid). Every stop shall be made without obstructing traffic more than is necessary.
(b) Penalties.--
(1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, any person violating this section commits a misdemeanor of the first degree.
(2) If the victim suffers serious bodily injury, any person violating subsection (a) commits a felony of the third degree, and the sentencing court shall order the person to serve a minimum term of imprisonment of not less than 90 days and a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000, notwithstanding any other provision of law.

"Serious bodily injury." Bodily injury which creates a substantial risk of death or which causes serious, permanent disfigurement, or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ.
SBI doesn’t seem to apply, although I’m not sure how “protracted” is defined. It is limiting his ability to work; perhaps that is considered a protracted impairment.

Anyway, even if there is a theoretical possibility of jail time, no way he can’t plead to avoid it.

Let's please keep political stuff in the Politics section of the board; thanks Cap.

Bismack Biyombo is balling out for the Grizz. In their 105-101 win over the Clippers (now 0-4 with James Harden, lmao), Bizzy put up these numbers:

13 points on 5-6 FG, 3-7 FT (oops), 12 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk

Not bad. Love to see Bizzy making an impact; miss that guy.

We have a good 2 headed monster at C now with Nurk and Eubanks. I liked Biz, but don't really miss him and don't think he'd fit that high post look we want from our 5. He's very limited in what he can do and makes the most of it, but he can just as easily pick up 3 fouls in 3 minutes. Memphis is a good spot for him at the moment.
