Didn’t realize Book is shooting 95% from the free throw line. God damn

This whole team in general really needs to stop the cross court when getting trapped passes, feels like they end up a TO at least half the time.

Awful fourth. Jesus.

I fucking loved the Scott Foster experience. He’s a beautiful son of a bitch

52 free throws...when's the last time that happened for the Suns? Must be due to Scott Foster officiating against Chris Paul.

It’s a throw a way win. Vogel can try whatever he wants. Scott Foster is a total clown show.

It probably could’ve been more…Warriors were really physical and looked like the refs let a lot go.

Ya turnovers are easily our biggest issue…gotta figure that out

Bench units do this kind of stuff all the time across the league. I know it's annoying, but it's not just the Suns.

Why would they show that and welcome him back when he's not even on the floor?

Nice. Some great foreshadowing there.

This was bothering me today (and he did it a bunch last game too). Book was walking the ball up slowwwwly, often crossing at the 17 second mark. The Chris Paul method.

I never understood it. Forces you into a shorter shot clock where you have fewer counters if your first action doesn’t work. Speed it up, dude. With superstars on the court you want to maximize as much time on offense as possible.

Good point…. But even in the game before they are sending a lot of cross court passes. I was honestly surprised more of books passes weren’t picked off against the blazers when we played them. Had that been Denver, they would have taken advantage of those for sure.

Kind of an odd game. We were steady and in control for the most part and I think that may end up our identity - just being solid on both ends and letting the game come to our stars. The team defense seems to be clicking a bit more closing off penetration and then rotating back out. Definitely cleaner than earlier in the year so hopefully that keeps progressing

Allen, EG, Nas, Nurk and Eubanks were all contributing well. Okogie had his offense going a bit and made things tough on Curry. Klay had himself a game but I was OK letting him hit his shots so long as Curry didn't get hot. Dario had a nice game too but he wasn't going to beat us. Teams may be figuring out PointBook a bit to where he's having a hard time with his own offense, but he's still managing the game well and getting others involved. We need to tighten things up when there's defensive pressure and we're spaced out too far from each other. That's been leading to traps and bad TOs.

Vogel's subs were weird at the end of the game but so were Kerr's. Kerr didn't bring Steph back in and Vogel kind of matched by keeping Book on the bench for some reason, maybe still on a minutes restriction. The Ws bench was scrappy and got them back in the game, but we helped that by relying too much on the roleplayers. Maybe Vogel got duped a bit by Kerr playing his bench so late into the game that he just rolled with KD for a stretch, then pulled KD and Book with like 2 minutes left and "only" up 9 which is when the Ws got a TO and a 3pt play to cut into the lead even more. So Vogel's gotta be smarter there and really make sure the game is in hand. Plus we don't have a reliable PG/ballhandler off the bench so closing out with a bench unit may be tricky at this point. Allen, EG, Okogie aren't guys I'd necessarily trust with that.

Nas gave us good minutes again and was a nice spark on both ends. May find his niche as a 2way energy guy off the bench than a starter/heavy rotational guy. Eubanks rolled his ankle so we saw Metu a lot in the 4th and he was OK for coming off the bench in a pinch. Looks a lot like DA out there! I think all of our bench guys are really solid so long as they play within themselves and don't try and do too much.

The CP-Foster stuff...crazy how that was never an issue in Phoenix but last night just blew up. It's funny how everyone said they knew it was coming too at that moment. But the stuff between them is real, glad it's not our problem anymore. I was worried that CP getting tossed might've given them a spark or allowed them to make an adjustment that could turn the game around but the Ws just don't have a ton of firepower if Wiggins and Kuminga aren't stepping up. Podziemski looks like he'll be really annoying for them. He's a bit of that Grayson Allen chippiness to his game. Glad to see Dario doing well for them but he's not a gamechanger either as one of their best bigs.

That’s a real dick move by Foster. It’s supposed to be CP3’s homecoming of sorts. You don’t throw him out of the game.
Sort of reminded me of "Forget Paris" when Billy Krystal (playing an NBA ref) ejects half the players on the court, including Kareem during his farewell tour ...
