It's crazy how Yuta started the season well and then dropped off a cliff after his parents came to watch him play. He's not been the same player since.
KBD just gives off the vibe that he doesn't want to be here, which is strange considering many were pegging him as the 5th starter in the off-season. You'd have thought he'd have wanted to grasp the opportunity to start for a contender with both hands but he's never looked remotely interested to me.
I think that's just his personality but I could be wrong. Haven't seen any emotion out of him.

We so badly need a reliable 7th guy.

All hail our savior, Royce O'Neal!

I still don't think it's the players fault. C'mon, we have almost a assistant coach for player. If they can get the same players to perform at least as they were on another team, why pay so much and so many?

The players are not without blame, they are the ones who have to execute and have not been good at that this year.

We absolutely have to be fully healthy. Cannot have Eubanks KBD and Goodwin out there and expect to win. These guys blow.
Somebody didn't watch the game. Goodwin didn't play a minute.
Sorry it was a generalized statement. We need EG , Little And where is thick dick??

Bates-Diop had a +/- of -24 last night in 14 minutes.
Yes, +/- isn't an end-all/be-all stat, but, hell, -24 ?!

Yes, he hesitates because I think he doesn't really know what he should be doing.

This tracks with what I'm seeing too.

Not only KBD. Yuta does that, Okogie too. Seems like we got from "keep shooting" in Monty's tenure to "if you miss you go to the bench".

The way this coaching staff so openly groups the players into the “big 3” and “everyone else,” (whose roles are to support the big 3) makes me a little uncomfortable. I wonder if the role players chafe at that too.

Yeah. We got to "we're a family" to "try to get a big contract next year" too fast. The Big 3 are worried about playoffs and the rest are worried about being in the NBA 2 years from now.

Totally agree, they should cater the whole offense around making sure the minimum contract pussy boys are comfortable.

You would think the player options most of them have would give them some comfort, but ya it does seem like they are playing scared.
We really just need one of Little, Yuta, KBD, or Okogie to be a contributor…maybe even Damien Lee or Goodwin, but I think they are too small. We’re good at guard if we’re healthy. Though I’d take Lee, even with his rough D, over those other guys if he’s hitting 40% of his 3s. Need Metu, Bol, or Eubanks to be a rotation guy as well.
So 2 guys short for me…don’t have a lot of faith in any of our own guys…Metu is probably tops for me, but I wouldn’t hesitate to add 2 new guys from the outside. Trade market and buyout market needs to be explored. Size, defense, and playable shooting is what I’d prioritize.

Nic Batum would've been a great fit. He wouldn't have shot like Allen or even Gordon, but he's smart and big enough to defend most front court players.

He was part of the harden trade, he went to Philly. He’s been solid for them
