3 pt defense was the problem tonight. The Ayton/Baynes convo is not going to be great at closing out on the perimeter. I think we should retire it.
It was a bad idea to begin with. It’s not the problem though. Our problem is our priorities and mental toughness. We’re more focused on putting on a fashion show and pregame mosh pits instead of playing the right way
How exactly does that impact the game? Kelly was perfectly fine tonight. Your hatred of him is becoming quite ridiculous. 17 points, 6 boards, 5/11 from the field, 3/8 from 3, 1 turnover. Nothing special, but he was hardly the reason we lost. He’s just an easy whipping boy for you because you dislike him as a person. It’s ok for basketball players to have a personality.
Great post Split.
Yeah let’s ignore he was a -14. Again, everything i hate all flash no substance

Continues to take ill advised shots especially down the stretch, some awful fouls and just horrendous defense as usual.
Everyone has horrendous defense tho. He’s playing well with in the system in that regard.

I agree Kelly was fine tonight. However the flamboyance on the court is REALLY annoying when the team is playing how it's playing. Win some games - maybe get to .500 for the love of god - and then do pushups all damn day. Do your fashion shows, etc.

So DA is having a hell of a game and he doesn’t even touch the wall basically in the fourth quarter. This entire team is a joke
This.

A lot of this is on Monty.

Refused to call timeouts to stop momentum
Didn’t do anything to stop players playing with house money
Didn’t get the team to force the ball to ayton

Ayton was killing the Kings by we thought it wise to shoot our selves in our foot. You can’t offer fans a it’s on me or they didn’t follow the game plan bs. The game plan they needed was so fucking obvious and they didn’t even do it.

I might skip the next few unless a trade comes along immfhst pissed.

I guess Monty storming off the podium didn't do Jack s***.
Needs roster changes and a game plan which doesn’t involve dicking around well beyond the 3pt line for 30 seconds.

The last few games have looked very Igorish.

Oubre has won us quite a few games this year. Saying no substance is just not true. It’s flat out wrong.

One of them was obviously a negative on the court tonight. The other was a victim of this players ineptitude and inability to pass the ball

Because he can't contribute anywhere else on the court unless he's getting spoon fed in the post? Give me a break.

Sorry, folks. This isn't a playoff team. My 30 win bet is now in jeopardy. If we can't beat a short-handed Kings team that played the night before, we have no business even being in the hunt. That was pathetic.

Kelly's not the problem. I don't get the switching with Ayton on Fox. We need more size and athleticism at PF. We need reliable offense when Book is on the bench. Baynes lost whatever he had the first 15 or so games.
I call ass. People biased with Kelly because of his “swagger “
Dude, you are so biased against him it's not even funny. He's BEC for you.

I think we have to. 3 point defense seems to be a problem every night.

Strange how badly Bridges has been lately. This was one of what I’d consider our smarter young players and he’s been one of the worst lately at making stupid plays and stupid fouls. Unreal.
He was one of the highest floor draft prospects I can recall in a while. He came to the Suns, forgot how to shoot and often looks lost.

We are absolutely atrocious at player development.

I agree. Your anger is misplaced. Kelly has been our second best player this season and actually pretty consistent.

Tyrese Haliburton, but the Suns won't be picking high enough to get him.

Watching Ariza ignite the comeback was the most painful part of an especially painful watch. I'd call it a revenge game, but that would imply Ariza cares about anything other than the 1st and 15th of every month.
