I said a while ago we better win in the next two years because of Wemby. It’s possible we need to win this year because of OKC.

Chet is really good and gonna get overlooked a bit because of Wemby. He’s been better than Wemby so far, albeit in an easier role. They are very scary…

I’ll say one thing that I feel vindicated by a bit…I’ve never been a huge Josh Giddey fan and was blown away how high some people(especially Bill Simmons) had him on player rankings. I thought OKC should use him as a trade chip as I just am not sure he’s necessary on that team. And while he’s still a good player, his usage is down, his shooting numbers are down, and his turnovers are up. A lot of people were expecting a leap this year and instead he’s taken a step back.

He’s pretty clearly 4th in the pecking order on that team behind SGA, Jalen, and Chet and I don’t think he fits particularly well between them. The playmaking is nice but I think I’d rather have a shooter or some size. Probably not available now that Minny is cooking, but I loved KAT on that team and wondered if Giddey, contracts, and picks could’ve got him.

I'm still waiting for the OKC ownership group to fuck it up for cap reasons like they did last time.

Caruso is the type that works anywhere.

Ya I just don’t think OKC needs more guys that will need/want on ball touches unless they are better than SGA or can also play off ball. Derozan needs the ball. LaVine makes some sense as he’s pretty good off ball, but he’s going to want a lot of shots and he’s bad defensively. I don’t think it’s worth compromising the development of Williams/Chet/Giddey for.

Instead, they should focus on more of a star role player that can just fill holes. I think OG would make a lot of sense. He’s a much better shooter and defender than Giddey. Of course he seems to want on ball reps that won’t be there much in OKC. Jerami Grant would also be an interesting guy but the contract might scare OKC off.

I don't think they need any "star" level player. Their only weakness is a bruiser in the paint who can move the ball and soak up 1v1 (fouls) against the premier bigs. Other than that, just get a season of reps and hope the injury luck falls in their favor.

The pistons are so bad. Not been impressed with Cade.

Like throw everything away and keep Thompson and Sasser. Wouldn’t give up on Cade but wouldn’t be afraid to deal for the right package.

Cade isn't going anywhere and they'd be insane to deal him.

The Pistons aren't the youngest team in the league, but basically everyone who actually plays is very young. They have 3 guys with All-Star potential, so just give it a year to shake out and start slowly adding the right role player veterans in the next 12 months.

I just don’t think Cade has looked that good to me and thus far I just dont see the superstar potential either. Bad shot selection with pretty bad shooting, plus he’s been horribly injury prone.

Kinda feel like he just going to be a better Spencer Dinwiddie.

Idk. I hope I’m wrong because I really liked him coming out the draft.
