But he can't shoot or distribute. He's never been a passer. Ever. His biggest strength is his aggressive D, which often works against us.
You think his D is worse that Eric or Brandon?

There's always that option.

So I guess that limits his replacement.

I think it works in stretches. But he's no lockdown defender. Has a tendency to play too up on guys and get burned. A lot of activity without achievement. No question he's better than Knight, who's awful. For a 10 minute stretch I'll take him over Bled too, but not for 35 minutes.

What a weird solution to our problems. Fire the assistants!

It just neuters the head coach even more.

I would say I would take Price on D for a lot more than 10 minutes if it is broken up. And I like Bleds off the ball defense, he is just awful 1 on 1.

But I would still argue that Price is better in the 2 man game than Bleds or Knight.

They aren't going to pay for two head coaches the rest of the year. This gives the fan base something to cling to, shines the light somewhere besides the GM/Owner, and just lets them roll over that huge lump under the rug.

New strategy...we lose the rest of the season, and at the end, Sarver holds a big ceremony where he gets to sacrifice Hornie, and say its all his fault. Sounds about right...oh, and then to go for the hat trick, we can sell the pick to the 76ers for a bag of cheesy poofs!

And bring out Booker like they did with Amare.

I always thought it was the assistant coaches holding this team back. Great move.

And of course it's all Hornacek's fault along with the two assistants. Retarded. Can we fire the GM and owner too while we're at it?

That should really right the ship. I knew those two assistant coaches were sabatoging team chemistry and undermining coach Hornacek.

Here's to the return of winning basketball (and hopefully an invigorated return from Keef).
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Deck chairs, Titanic, etc etc.

Yuck.

You know, I'd be more depressed about the Suns if I cared more; what a weird place to be as a fan.

By this point, I think these are unintended comedy moves and really kind of (almost) brightens my day. The team will finally be talked about for something other than losing to the Sixers.

Having done this, presumably Hornacek should be safe for the rest of the season, right? You can't take out his legs and then lose the best player and blame any further losing on the coach, can you? So if that were true, we are tanking right?

That's my logic for this move having saved my day. But of course with the caveat that while we tank, can we please develop our youngsters? Pretty please?

Hahah assistant coaches fired.

What's the point?

I guess Earl Watson is going to be coaching soon.

WTF? I want to think McD is learning and will be a really good gm. I also want to believe Sarver is sitting back and letting basketball guys make basketball decisions. Then shit like this comes out of the front office.

Not to mention what this says about Coach. He is okay with throwing his assistants under the bus? What a joke.
