I rather like or am indifferent to most of these, except Kelly Olynyk is EW.
Everyman Winner?

I'm not interested in McGee.

Vanderbilt is a sneaky good option. I’d be happy with that. I like Noel and Jamychal green too. McGee as a 3rd big. I wanted Burks last year, would like him again but I think a big is more pressing if we bring back Payne.

I like Olynyk…he is similar to Frank but he’s actually good, unlike Frank.

My Free Agent Target List. Each player ranked within their tier.

Expensive tier:
Kelly Olynyk
Daniel Theis
Paul Milsap
Evan Fournier

Mid-tier:
Nerlens Noel
Jamychal Green
Malik Monk
Alec Burks
Jarred Vanderbilt
Cody Zeller
Zach Collins
Nemanja Bjelica
Otto Porter

Cheaper Options:
Justise Winslow
Khem Birch
Isaiah Hartenstein
Edmond Sumner
Wily Hernangomez
Gorgui Dieng
Jordan McLaughlin
DJ Wilson
Trey Lyles
I rather like or am indifferent to most of these, except Kelly Olynyk is EW. We have a poor man’s version in Frank. We need a bruiser.

I like Green + Noel or McGee. Theis too
I ranked Olynyk above Theis because I think KO can more credibly play minutes at the 4 alongside Ayton, so you'd get more bang for the buck. It was close, though.

He doesn't like anyone with the initials KO. :P

How is Millsap going to be expensive? He's turning 37 and his production has declined significantly.

Expensive to me is ~$9M and above. We don't have much more than that to spend.

He's currently making $10 million. I don't see him getting the full MLE.

I like this idea, of signing CP3 to an extension before free agency: https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2021 ... agency-nba

This way, you pay Paul his full $44 million and pay the luxury tax this year (which Sarver said he's willing to do), and then you only have to pay Paul $23-28 million (estimate) the next two years.

I think we should do whatever it takes to bring Larry Nance Jr here. I think if the Cavs draft Mobley, Nance becomes more expendable.
Is he a free agent ?

No Plumlee please.

There is talk of the Cavs buying Kevin Love out.
I'd sign him.
Kevin Love or Blake Griffin ? I'd choose Blake. I know both are "damaged goods", but I'd try with Blake Griffin first.

Yeah, that's the rumor that has been out for years. Still between Griffin and Love, you have to roll with Griffin.

BTW, no to James Johnson in PHX. Suns need legit PF/C's here not "smallball PF/C's." Get my drift ?

McGee, Kanter, Mitchell Robinson (depending on the depth of that foot injury). Those are the some of the guys to look at.

You add the extensions of Ayton and Bridges in 2022 though…I think we’re better off getting under the luxury tax this year because it’s inevitable in 2022. Of course I hope Sarver just bites the bullet and pays the luxury tax the next 3 years

Bring in Robin Lopez and Patty Mills (if we lose Payne). RoLo brings boxing out, good screen assists, and excellent rim protection.

And an awkward but highly effective hook shot
