Devin Booker has always been streaky. Pre and post girl stuff.

Fair to say the season-long trend has been downward. By GmSc, only 2 of his top 10 games came after January, but 7 of his bottom 10 games.

I don’t think he’s looked all that different from his usual.. he had a bad game and I think people are overreacting. McDaniels is a good defender and Minny is an elite defense…let’s see how he responds.

I don’t think he’s looked all that different from his usual.. he had a bad game and I think people are overreacting. McDaniels is a good defender and Minny is an elite defense…let’s see how he responds.

He's looked like himself, playing consistently great ball the 2nd half of the season? This isn't one bad game. See Cap above.

He's making too much money and is the center of the franchise to be so inconsistent. He's been letting us down lately. This is the first year where he has disappointed us so often in which to cast doubt on his future here when there was none previously.

His numbers this season are essentially the same as last year… his splits pre and post all star break aren’t that different either:

28/5/7 .617 TS%
26/4/7 .600 TS%

Think the slight dip is much more likely due to us having a more difficult schedule post all-star than girl drama.

We don’t even know he’s having girl drama, it’s all just tabloid gossip, I’m not sure why we’re even discussing it.

Totally agree. He hasn't been as good this year and it genuinely feels like he's hit his ceiling now. Some of that could be down to trying to accommodate KD and Beal but I just don't see the same fire that he's had in previous seasons. He works hard on his game and likes to compare himself to Kobe, but performances like this (along with others during the back half of the season) show just how far away he is from having that elite championship level mentality in my opinion.

It's funny how Book changed from "we got to get better every game" attitude when Monty and CP3 were here to "36 unbothered".

He clearly is not defending like he can, it's not just the offense.

I don't know if it's only the women, but the shoes and all the celebrity status he achieved is not helping either.

I don't think girl problems are to blame for Booker's performance on the court. I think the problem is we have shitty roster construction, even about fundamental things like who should run the offense, who should guard whom, or who should take the last shots in crunch time.

Okay. I'll just say that due to the dispersion of the dataset, there is significant error present in the calculation of the blue line.

In any case, we should be plotting points scored vs minutes spent with his girlfriend, or something like that, if you want to correlate Book's love life with his game play.
