I'd float that idea past him, see if it can wet (sic) his appetite to join the splash brothers. Then sign his wife Gabrielle Union and flipper for a future draft pick.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Lavert is poor man’s Booker…he was pretty good in Brooklyn, but not great in Indy or Cleveland. He’s a better talent by far than anyone on our bench.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Herro is making $3+ million less a year. Try offering that to Ayton and telling him it's "basically the same."
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Nothing on the Pacers roster interests James Jones.

I think any team trading for Draymond (and paying him) is going to regret it. It's going to be like when the league looted the Bulls after Jordan's second retirement; none of those guys were as good elsewhere.Aztec Sunsfan wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 12:37 pmRevenge Draymond could be a huge boost for our current dynamic.
The Warriors need Draymond but Draymond also needs the Warriors.

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Not willing to pay the guy beyond his current contract, but acquiring him while also consolidating some dead weight -current Crowder is dead weight- like Craig/Payne and/or hopefully Shamet for a player willing to do his best to prove precisely the opposite of your point, could be worth the risk. Big gamble, but given how the Jae situation played out, maybe it’s where the Suns are, but that’s why I said getting Revenge Draymond, (granted sending Payne and Shamet together would put the team in a hurry to get some one to do the job they are supposed to do)INFORMER wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 11:24 pmI think any team trading for Draymond (and paying him) is going to regret it. The Warriors need Draymond but Draymond also needs the Warriors.
But I completely agree with you on the second part: extending Draymond it’s a total recipe for disaster. And posibly that would be Draymond’s condition to play nice with his new team, in such case, hard pass. Also hard pass on any 1st round picks going out to GS. They are exchanging problems (if GS engage trade conversations, they’re acknowledging Green is/will be a problem)
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Also can’t see Warriors dumping Draymond, let alone to a same division rival so Draymond can go berserk on them 4 times a year plus potential playoffs madness.

I enjoyed this article analyzing the top 7 title contenders.

Well written. He says a lot of what we've been saying about the team. We really need to get a contributor for Crowder.

So Draymond says what he did was terrible, awful, etc. but he seems way, way more concerned about the video being leaked than anything he did.
Go Suns!

What? The video was released "to look this way"?! Dude, what you see is what you get. You did that. Just own up to it.

This is an awful quote from Steve Kerr. He's basically suggesting that domestic violence should be kept secret. That sounds like what abusers tell their family."In 32 years, I've probably seen 20-plus fights. It should not make it out of our walls," Kerr said.
"When things are kept internally, it's almost easy to handle," he continued. "As soon as things are leaked, all hell breaks loose. That affects every single player, coach. ... It's like if you had a camera in your family and there was a family dispute. Would you really want to discuss it with the world? No."

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
I do understand what Kerr is getting at. People settle things "in house" all the time. Whether it's a verbal argument, a physical altercation, or whatever, if we knew every single piece of dirty laundry about everyone around us, we would all mass-cancel each other and society would break down. I do think if you physically punch a guy, that's extremely serious and you shouldn't settle things like that without repercussions.

I’ve got news for Perk. You can’t be a Laker and leave the Golden State.
