Fourth quarters of games are so painful to watch. So. Many. Stoppages. Such a shame that instead of the best basketball experience you get 30 seconds of play and 3-4 minutes of commercials for timeouts and reviews.

That's why I DVR them.

The Rockets have a lot of players without social messages on their jerseys.
Harden wasn't wearing a mask when he arrived for the game. He would be an anti-masker.
The amount of cloth required to construct a mask that would fit around that beard would bankrupt even Harden.
I have seen him wearing a mask many times. Probably just your confirmation bias for guys you hate/guys you love.

And you would think he could just wrap his beard over his mouth and nose to form a mask...

He’d be a great target if there wasn’t so much baggage.

Just think how different thing would be if we had valued him over Bledsoe...

Wow, what an exciting ending to that Utah/Denver game!

I liked the dueling PG’s in that series.

That was a really fun Game 7 to watch. I think the better team won, ultimately. Denver is the team I want to see take on the Clips in the next round. It will also be fun to watch another Game 7 tomorrow night with Houston vs OKC. Both of those teams' stars tend to choke in big elimination games, so it'll be interesting to see who comes through.

Yeah, I "almost" feel sorry for the Jazz.

Or doesn't.

I didn't watch any of the Utah/Denver game 7, but I checked the score and it was 70-70 with around 5:00 left and the final ended up at 80-78. My first thought was that it seemed liked an ugly game.

Then I saw a video on Reddit of the last 20ish seconds and my thoughts were confirmed. Sure, it might have been a close game, but that ending sequence was dreadful from a tactics perspective.

The last 15 seconds was bonkers. Mitchel with the TO, then the blown layup, leading to a Conley in-and-out 3? If this site were DEN-Nuggets.net or UTH-Jazz.net we all would have aged 5 years in those 15 seconds.

I'll be totally honest, I'm not unhappy about UTAH losing. I hope that they give a max extension to Mitchell and eventually a super max to Gobert.

they should for Mitchell--he earned it. If you are unbiased, there are plenty of arguments to be made about which of Murray, Mitchell and Booker are better right now.

Oh, there is no doubt that Mitchell is going to get the Max. I more hoping that they super max Gobert. Although he's super valuable, I think the Super Max handcuffs teams unless they have extremely deep pockets and a roster that pretty much set and deep.

Super max, especially for non big market teams should almost never be used. Giannis is the lone exception, Milwaukee should definitely do that.
