Who’d be the best possible running mate for him? Outside of the obvious like Giannis.

KD could still come available and would obviously be great. I’m thinking big 2-way wing that can run the offense and play off ball. Pascal Siakam, Jaylen Brown…can’t imagine either of them coming available unless their teams collapse.
Brandon Ingram but I don’t see NOP trading him.
I wish he could stay on the court. I really love the player he has become. Incredible talent.

Klay running his mouth about 4 rings with 2 whole points. SMH. Entertaining game.
He’s washed…has to live in the past
This site loves to declare players done prematurely.

Klay didn't do any basketball activities over the summer. That is why he is on a minutes restriction. I would give him a couple of months before declaring him done.

This is fully-realized, prime Devin Booker where the strong 3 point shooting game and basket attacking are happening at the same time. He’s also controlled running the offense and competes all game on D. What a pleasure to watch.
This.

Cam Johnson is playing himself into a 4 year, 40 million dollar contract.
Where is everyone who was saying how awful it was that the Suns didn't extend him?!

I think Cam will be fine, but yeah, right now, the Suns' decision is looking really good.

Seemed like the officials had a chat with both teams at halftime about bitching and moaning. They didn’t stop, unsurprisingly kicked off by Draymond, and then it was on. Any little sign of dissent and they went full ref ball.

Takeaways from the game:

-I love Devin Booker.
-I love the sun burst.

That is all.

The uniforms were dope. They should just make them the permanent road unis.

I mean it was definitely an exaggeration in the moment, but he’s not the player he used to be. I know he had some moments last year, but he’s been pretty bad every time I’ve seen him play since returning. People talk about him like he’s an all-star level talent still and he’s not. He can be useful, but there’s 5+ guys on the Warriors that are better.

Truth be told I always thought he was overrated. He’s good, but he benefited greatly by getting to be the 3rd or 4th best player all these years.

He’s just not a high dollar player. He’s a MLE type, maybe a bit higher.

Same could be said with how they handled Ayton's contract. There was no reason for them to negotiate against themselves last summer.

Eh, the start of the season was always likely to be the roughest for him. He's adjusting to a much different role and level of expectations. I am not happy with his play so far but I will give him more time.

This.
Can't agree more...and often enough. Truly worthy of being the best SG in the NBA.

Agree, folks who said he was worth more than Bridges were crazy. We seem to want to overpay too often.

I do think he will come around and earn like a 15 mil/year deal eventually.

Did anyone say he was worth more than Bridges? IIRC, it was only a debate whether or not he should be on a roughly equal salary.

I've always wondered if players can hear the courtside broadcasters.

Folks were saying that he should get more than what Bridges was making, yes.

I'm fairly certain that he didn't hear them, well let me say I would be surprised. The players watch games in their down time and well aware of the "commentator jinx"
So I just feel Steph had a hunch that Harlan would have mentioned how elite a FT shooter he is and once he looked across the others were already laughing

That was my thinking. I don't think he heard them but he saw their reactions and guessed.

They can't because they don't own the rights. Mitchell & Ness do, and Booker just bought in as an investor...
