I'm not even going to try to defend Monty for putting Shamet on the court late in the game. That was idiotic.

It took an entire quarter, but Zach Zarba finally called Norm Powell for fouling the Suns ball handler on the perimter.

Pretty wild for a guy who loved the sound of his whistle all night.

What a massive turd of a 4th…let’s flush it and get ready for Denver. We thought the Clippers had quit and it took too long for us to turn it back on.

Be nice if we had a player like Kevin Durant

They left Okogie uncovered for 1 possession and Monty panicked…at least go with Craig

Inexcusable to not give it to KD at any point. Dude was getting guarded by Mann and Russ. Wtf man.

The Suns got cute and started playing against the clock while the Clippers suddenly couldn't miss a 3-pointer. It would've been a ridiculous collapse, but I don't think it's much to worry about going forward.

I love how the suns forgot Durant existed the ENTIRE 4th quarter
Just inexcusable. I'm not letting Monty off the hook for some of the strategy tonight both ways good and bad

I hope everyone out there finds someone to love them the way Monty loves Shamet.

Only caught the last few minutes of the 4th and agree the Shamet decision was just weird. Booker was amazing and has taken his game to another level. KD’s layup late was deceptively tough. After making a spirited run the Clippers actually handed the game over in the last minute with some floppy turnovers (I did enjoy the bullet pass from Westbrook that sailed straight out of bounds!)
The game showed how good we can be in the 3rd and then in the 4th reminded us we can be pretty average when not fully switched on. Maybe not a bad thing heading into the Denver series?

No thanks, that is an unhealthy relationship.

114 points out of the starters tonight, and that includes zero from Craig.

Ya I don’t think so either…hopefully we learned to not take our foot off the gas. Please no more CP3 dribbling out the clock at half court every play. And no more Shamet(I’d prefer at all, but at least not in closing time).

And get KD the damn ball…he was way too uninvolved in the 4th Q collapse.

WTF was Shamet doing on the floor during such crucial game determining late moments!?!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Suns say hold my beer with their 50 point 3rd. And then in the 4th they say, we need to practice our close game close outs.

Fortunately the issues are very fixable, especially the rebounding which is a lot about focus and effort. Really poor end to the half but we can wipe that deficit with one decent run.
Good call.
