Minus Booker this was a G league game. Stats in such games doesn't mean anything for me. Let's see what JJ can do against the Jazz.

How about highlights?
Let’s not jump to conclusions. The Cavs are awful and dumb. These are the games our dumb players shine in. They need to play under control against smart teams and then we can talk about improvementFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 11:48 pmBig games from the two .net scapegoats. But 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks are pretty big numbers, regardless of opponent or player.specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 7:19 amLet’s not jump to conclusions. I've been a big JJ supporter all season but do agree with this. Josh wasn't really doing anything different last night besides finishing at the rim and keeping his TOs down. Obviously those are two pretty big things but you can see in those highlights, JJ was still driving to the rim a little wildly (but finishing) and leaving his feet to pass (normally a TO against better defenses). He can be an impact player on both sides of the ball - the question is, how/where/if he fits here. He's ball dominant and can be a problem for other teams when he plays like last night. But we know his issues scoring and turning the ball over, and if he needs the ball in his hands to be effective, what does that mean for a PG we potentially bring in and how does that fit with Booker?specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 7:19 amLet’s not jump to conclusions. If his improved 3 point shot is for real(38.8% since all star break) I don’t think he needs to be a ball dominant player. In fact, not requiring him to create so much could be beneficial. Let him attack in transition and as a secondary creator when the ball rotates to him because the defense focuses in on booker or our new pg.ShelC wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:00 amI've been a big JJ supporter all season but do agree with this. Me too! I thought I was the only one. Lolbajanguy008 wrote:I think I seen it mentioned in other threads but Chewing Gum Bender is a thing tho lol
Doesn't matter if he dunks, blocks, even saw him swish a 3 as time expired few games back and his facial expression is the same. I find myself laughing at this the last couple weeks
Sure. He had a great game by the box score and by momentum plays as well. His sequence of the dunk and then block on B Knight was the play(s) of the game.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:27 amBut 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks are pretty big numbers, regardless of opponent or player.specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 7:19 amLet’s not jump to conclusions. I’d keep him for a couple million per year, that’s about it. 3 years 6-9 millionMarty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 2:33 pmIf he'll stay cheap, he should be offered a contract for 2 years or so.
