I think the only team that really “scares” me is a fully healthy Lakers team. If that team doesn’t exist, I think we’re absolutely in the mix as a contender.

I don’t love how we match up with the Jazz, but I could see that series going our way. Fully healthy Denver is also probably a coin flip.

I don’t know what to make of the playoff Nets. We match up pretty well with them, but their offense is unreal (if again, fully healthy).
What about a fully healthy Blazers?
They’re in the mix with all the others. But they’re not at the same level as the Lakers.

I’m actually quite confident about our ability to match up with the Clippers.

The Lakers and Nets are honeypotting the fringe contenders like the Suns.

I won't believe that Davis or Durant will miss a playoff game until it happens. And they're both top 10 players in the league even at a less than 100% sharpness.
We're not a damn fringe contender.

Pelicans choked and lost to Blazers after a big comeback. Lillard had 50 again. He's having himself a season.

I was watching that game on the subway and switched to the Wolves/Lakers game at that exact time in the 4th because I thought the Pels would win.

On 20 shots! He’s unreal.

I just watched the end. The Pelicans folded like a child’s origami project. Ingram calmly went to the FT line with 7 seconds remaining, up 3 and missed both free throws. Blazers made a basket to get within one. Pelicans boofed the inbounds pass off the receivers hands out of bounds. Bledsoe fouled Lillard on his shot attempt (very similar to Booker’s uncalled foul at the end of the Hornets game) and he made his two free throws to win by one.

Reports have Ugly Birds looking to trade Ball, Bledsoe and/or Reddick.
Bledsoe shooting OK from the arc, but less than 70% on free throws.
Reddick may not have much gas in the tank.
Ball has improved his shooting, but not the great playmaker some expected (although he had 17 assists last night)
I could see them moving Adams, also, for a quicker, more defensive oriented 4/5.

Whats the potential asking price for Ball? I imagine too much for what we would want to offer?

Knicks fans got a thing for Reddick and Ball.

Blazers should trade for Adams and just go for the trifecta.

Also this just happened

That's just awful about Bradley. Cut down when he still has so many years left, forced to live them as a shell of his former self. Very sad.

You'd also be pushing Cam Payne out of the rotation. I'm not sure how I'd feel about replacing his production with Ball.

On the upside, rather than a ball and chain, we'd have a Ball and Payne.
