Is Oubre expiring?
Yes

This works

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28s5ltdu

Craig, Crowder, Saric, and Payne for Rozier/Oubre

We’d have to add draft capital…tried to find a way to do Hayward/Rozier, but that’s trickier salary wise unless we wait till Dec 15
Honestly just using Craig, Crowder, Saric to get Hayward would be extremely helpful (depending on his health, as always). He only has 1 year after this on his deal.

True, I’d go for that…need Charlotte to start losing first though

Surprised I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but pretty sure the Portland game ended our streak of games won with a lead heading into the 4th.
Good. That was exhausting and didn't get us anywhere anyway.

That's the trade I liked as well. Definitely helps our creation issues and Oubre can defend when motivated. We can then add some guys from the buyout pool to round out the roster.

I just don't trust Hayward's health at his salary number. Would be concerned we'd be giving up too much for a player who wouldn't be healthy when it mattered.

Ya, safer to just take Rozier/Oubre

A Rozier/Shamet/Lee/Oubre/Landale bench unit is a major upgrade.

I feel like a Rozier/Oubre deal is some pipedream stuff. I Would love it but surely CHA can get something better for Rozier then Crowder and a late 1st? If that’s all it takes then let’s fuckin go.

Gordon Hayward seems like it be more realistic option only because I think CHA would be more than willing to do a salary dump for him. Crowder, Dario and Shamet probably gets it done right now, and seeing how Crowder and Dario aren’t even playing right now, it’s just trading Shamet rotation spot for Gordon Hayward which seems like a win to me. Even if he gets hurt and misses time, it’s be no different then if Shamet got hurt, plus it opens up several roster spots in case of buy outs.

It would require Charlotte recognizing they’re barely a play-in team and pivoting to strengthening their Wemby/Scoot position while offloading future salary obligations at the one position they’re solid long-term.

Middleton makes 37mil with another year on the deal so it would take something like Crowder, Dario, Craig and Shamet/Payne.

The bucks are not giving us Middleton…he’d have to demand a trade and we’d have to give up a lot more than our pu pu platter of expirings…something more like Crowder/CamJ to Milwaukee, Saric/Shamet/1st to Houston who gives Milwaukee Eric Gordon.

If we’re making trades with the Bucks, id prefer Giannis.

Crowder, Shamet, Dario, Cam, Craig and maybe couple 1st should get it done ;)

Dang Milwaukee really makes out here lol.

The Bucks are title contenders. They’re not trading anyone good for Jae Crowder. So that means they’re talking about Greyson Allen.

I remember when for half a second I dreamed of trading for Giannis…Ayton/Oubre and all our picks was my offer. Of course it needed Giannis to tell Milwaukee he wouldn’t re-sign with them after we’d seen the Bucks falter in the playoffs 2 years in a row…but he re-signed and they won the finals.

Giannis/Booker would have been an absolutely devastating duo for 10 years in the league.

Honestly, If I’m Bucks I’d trade Kris for Cam Johnson, Jae, and 1st rounders + salary.

Why would the Bucks trade Middleton exactly? What makes anyone think this is a thing?

I don’t know why Khris would want out, so it’s pretty pointless to entertain, but moving Middleton for 3 good, albeit lesser, players wouldn’t be the worst idea. He’s 31 and might be very pricey next summer. Is he the right guy to lock into as Giannis sidekick for the next 5 years? Not sure…though I wouldn’t mess with it this year while they still have a good title shot.

Aging, injuries, eligible for a massive contract in the summer. I think chances are less than 5% but those would be the reasons.
