Tough to waive him since he has a player option. We’d have to pay him for two years.

In that case, I suppose it’s only a matter of time before we hear the announcements of Ish Wainwright and Keon Johnson being cut from the team. I’m a bit surprised it hasn’t happened already. When is the deadline for it?

Start of the regular season. So they won’t do anything until after camp/preseason…my guess is one of them ends up as a 2-way. I hope Keon Johnson…though he’ll have to clear waivers and agree to it.

Weird to have guys on two-ways and no G League team. Where do they play when we send them down?

Other franchises teams…not sure we utilize it much last year. DWJ/Ish/Saben just spent the whole time in the nba

He went on a bit about the arena experience, so maybe more business/arena staff and fan experience?

Bartelstein seems like a good guy, really sharp. Said he and James Jones are aligned and get along great, which you'd expect him to say, but I kinda believe it. They help each other with both sides of the org- business and basketball.

Jones didn't mince words on Ayton... They took the trade because they saw it as a chance to improve.

Jones (smile) non-answer on how long they were engaged with the blazers for Nurkic. Definitely supports what we have heard that this has been in the works for a while.

Suns saying they targeted Grayson…seems to contradict the report that he was a total surprise to us

Nobody gets any insight to the Suns but Gambo it seems.

The even funnier part about JamesJ - "Long enough to make a deal" is that the question came from Amin Elhassan
