Part of me wants to believe this is Vogel playing chess and not showing his hand with lineups, subs, sets vs western conference rivals this early in the year. Probably wishful thinking tho.
I kinda feel that way too but after thinking about it, but then feel like that would be more likely later in the season instead of now when they're still trying to figure it out anyway. Who knows?

I don’t know how concern I should be about these injuries, like is it something it’s gonna linger for a couple months or maybe longer? Or they are mostly okay but this new regime just embracing load management more and we’re being extra cautious. I lean more towards the ladder but idk.

Wouldn’t be surprise if they miss the home opener but wouldn’t be surprise if they play either.
You mean like this?

(Yes, I see Charlie beat me to the "ladder" thing but I couldn't pass it up. :P)

They know LAL are a potential playoff matchup but I doubt they’ll lose any pride dropping a game to them or have some desire to hide any schemes from them. Suns are probably more anxious to get out snd figure what they can do together.

This is going to be one of those annoying games where the Lakers beat us when we're missing 2 of our best 3 guys, but then the announcers and media j*** themselves over how LA is such a contender, they're the biggest threat to Denver this year, Lebron is ageless, etc.

I'd love to see KD go nuts to make up for his mediocre outing the other night.

It would be helpful if Allen could provide more than 0 points this time.

Conversely, if they don't show up and lose to a Booker/Beal-less Suns, we'll still see Nick Wrong rationalize it as "it's hard to get psyched up to play against a team resting its stars."

We're going to be hearing about how the Lakers are the west favorites until they flame out in the conference semi-finals. And then instead of acknowedging the team's short comings, it'll just be recycled "will Lebron play again??" Rinse and repeat.

You'd think we'd start the season injury free, but no!
I blame whoever it was who posted on here just a week ago that "every team starts their season healthy." :P
Stupid bastard! What an idiot!
I honestly don't remember who it was.
I'm pretty sure it was me. :)

Very disappointing but trying to look on the bright side of our other guys getting more time to show what they can do and gel together. I expect a loss but I hope we can at least keep it competitive and show some fight. Allen and Gordon showing more consistency would go a long way.

I've got concerns about relying on Gordon to carry major minutes. I would rather just give more minutes to guys like Goodwin instead, or maybe Little.

The dude was a starter for the Bucks last year. I think he'll be fine. Last night was by far his worst game as a Sun. But I do love me some Goodwin so I wouldn't mind them splitting minutes depending on what we need. Need offense? Allen. Defense? Goodwin.

Did you watch any Bucks games last year? Allen was a starter and solid contributor.

? I was talking about Eric Gordon? The two posts in response to mine seem to be about Grayson Allen.

Methinks you modified the posts to remove the evidence.

Mori made me write ladder instead of Latter. He’s outta of control right now. He doesn’t care who he hurts or reputation he tarnishes. He’s been a changed man since the Suns traded Rubio!

Little bit of a rough start but things are settling down now. My take so far…we’re a better team with Booker out there.

I’m not seeing Book or Brad on the bench. Did they not travel with the team?
