Someone hide Eric Gordon's shoes.
Make sure Gordon is in them.
You guys kid and then he went on a tear.

Wow, a completed game and a Game Day thread that's only 1 page of posts. Sign of the times. I agree with the sentiment that even in a win, it's hard to get too hyped about this team which is clearly not headed for a title run.

Negatives: KD looked really lethargic tonight. Booker also really doesn't look right; he air balled multiple shots and ended up 6-18. Bol Bol was unimpressive and missed almost everything. We didn't get much off the bench other than EG.

Positives: 21 boards for Nurkic, who frequently looked like a giant among the smaller Charlotte bigs. It was nice to get Eric Gordon back; he had 14 points. As up-and-down as he's been, he is a real asset on a good night. Royce O'Neale hit his shots tonight for a change. Beal played pretty well, shooting 7-11 and getting 7 assists and 6 boards.

I'll take the win. On to the next.
I was very relieved to see O’Neal hit his first 3. Which turned out to be his only 3 point attempt.

Suns played with their food again for the first half. Then get serious in the 3rd to go up 25. And then predictably let down in the 4th. Also, these Hornets without their star are pretty bad so they didn’t help themselves.

The Hornets went on a 16-2 run to start the 4th? I was thinking “Are you kidding me! Again?” Do they have some sort of 4th quarter curse or something? A variation of the OGW?

It’s weird. It’s something I’ve never seen before in all my years of fandom.

Yeah definitely went through the motions for too many stretches
As others called it "too cool for school" so that was a tad annoying

You guys might laugh at me for this but last night I was so confused and pissed tbh with the coaching (and players) as that's most of y'all every night
We got off to a slow start, just moving the ball and looking to take what the D gave us which was no biggie if we were in rhythm

Book 0/2 after like 8mins or something
KD had not taken a shot

I was like wait a minute, is Tre Mann really guarding Book ?!?! How is KY, Vogel or anyone on the court running action to get Book in the post. I love that lil dude shiftiness and handles but he really looks like 16. It should not have taken til the 3rd quarter to exploit that match up in the paint but at least the adjustment was made

No comment on the 4th 🤐🤦‍♂️

Brad seems to be the most consistent right now, just couple bad passes every game
