Boston is just a lot more active tonight, fortunately they can't really shoot the ball that well.

Offensively we're seeing to much of the standing around and not much moving the ball (10 assists through 3 quarters)

That last minute by the Celtics was just amazingly bad.

Just got home. We had to gut out a win against the Celtics? Ugh. Not looking good for the post season.

Very nice. As is Eric Bledsoe's line; I like that his turnovers have been way down.

Bledsoe is fun, Frye however is dookie.

The backcourt was good tonight, everyone else (Len/Kieff were ok) was blah, had to grind out a W vs Boston, baaad.

I believe the correct term would be:

FUGLY

What a fucked up, sloppy-assed, discombobulation of a game.....

A win is a win. Sort of.

Quite ugly, indeed. Almost everybody was either off or was locked down at some point. Today at least there was some life on D. If nothing fundamentally sound, at least more hustle.

Speaking of defense:
Dragic, Kieff and Bledsoe won it with contributions from Len (feels good writing it, if only for the novelty). Len needs to punish less athletic frontcourts, because they don't get any taller than him.

Plums was better than lately, and against the Cavs he played his best game in what seems quite some time.

Tucker was a mixed bag. He needs to be under control. Personally I believe the call on his offensive rebound was not flawless, and they could have saved themselves the technical, but I wouldn't be surprised if refs would have taken his number. Depending on how he handles his relationship with the refs his effectiveness could be highly impacted, both ways.

Geral Green was a liability. Hit nothing, shot everything, didn't distinguish himself at anything else. Ergo useless and detrimental to the team.

Tucker needs to stop dribbling in general and Green needs to stick to taking whatever the defense gives him. When Green is on it is fun, but bad decisions are poison no matter what's their form. We won't face many teams weaker than these Celtics. Greens Lights needs to add yellow to his gamut.

Bonus points:

72-72. 5 minutes remaining in the 4Q. Eye-popping defense. Name of the player?

7 turnovers from Tucker is just unacceptable. there were just to many plays like that inbounds pass that he threw out-of-bounds at halftime. You expect big-time scorers or point guards who create a lot of offense to have high-turnover games, but Tucker is basically catch-and-shoot on offense, and has been trying to do to much.

That's been Green's problem as well - trying to create offense when he should just move the ball, or trying to dribble in traffic when he really has poor ballhandling skills. Just catch it and shoot it or dribble to the basket when the opportunity is there.

And why is a team with two "point guards" in the starting lineup next-to-last in the league in assists?

Because absolutely nobody else can create for others, leaving aside what the twins do between them.

Gerald Green needs to start looking for easy shots earlier on to build his confidence; now with Bledsoe back maybe he feels he needs to rush his shots because he's not sure if they are gonna be there later on.

Regarding Tucker, I enjoy his passion but I have to be honest, I cringe every time he dribbles the ball on a fastbreak because A) his decision making sucks or B) he tries to take it coast to coast and fails miserably.
