I'm probably saying this every game now but KD defense really is quite something recently
He out there expending energy like dare I say it's the playoffs.....
Reminds me of how key he was to the Warriors success with his rim protection

Mavs broadcast of the game is on the replay site if you're into that sort of thing.

7 in a row. 5th place. Offense is sizzling. Defense is holding its own. Big three together for awhile now. Enjoy it.

Might have to check it out. I’d love to hear the dichotomy of the first half versus the third quarter.

They were surprisingly good didn't really go full homer at all throughout the game.
I forgot how often ESPN throws in random cutaways during a game. The local broadcast had way fewer Luka reaction shots, which was a plus. I enjoyed it way more than the national broadcast.

I watched the 2nd half on the replay with the Mavs broadcasters and they were fine. I couldn't watch the ABC broadcast with Burke, she's awful.
The biggest stat mentioned IMO was the Mavs starting 10-14 from 3 and then going 1-15 while we came back and took the lead. It just didn't seem reasonable for those guys to keep up that level of shooting. Felt like the Mavs started off with a lot of manic, nervous energy that wore off and led to them going cold. We stayed even and when their shots stopped falling, they just crashed. Luka looked exhausted by halftime and we just kept moving forward. He hurt us in the first half but I thought the pressure from guys like JO, KD, Allen throughout the game really wore him down. No one could guard Book, was glad to see him go off. He took the heat for those playoff losses and even tho this is a regular season game it's good to see him beat the Mavs.
The Mavs and their fans will use the excuse that they didn't have Kyrie but they can't be happy with their effort or attitude.
