Full trade with Nance also going out. Hart would be a solid vet if we could snag him for a pick or thru buyout.

I’m sure Portland wants Hart, he’s pretty young

Be odd to buy him out as it says he has another year left on his contract after this. I believe he could be moved again here if it's just him in the trade.

Well yea Zion.....
But speaking to what they actually have now, Valanciunas is always slept on but is very solid for them as a now 3rd option

The Herb Jones kid is playing quite well and don't know what's gotten into Jaxson Hayes but he also been hooping.

Don't see any of the bottom five catching them so should be interesting to see how they doing come time for the Play In

Nance is also a great fit next to Zion. I love this trade for NO…Portland does not look great in these trades

I'll admit I was wrong in thinking Shamet would perform better than he has so far, but com'on, he's not a disaster on the court.
I'm bummed that his shot isn't falling but he's been way better than Elf.
Never did I think I’d miss Jevon, but I also never expected that they would replace him with someone WORSE. this is awful. Shame on James Jones for being complacent in the off-season
They didn't replace Jevon with Elfrid. They replaced Jevon with Shamet. Elf replaced the combo of Galloway/Moore as the last guards off the bench.

I don’t think it’s happening and it’s too dangerous imo right now, but if Indy doesn’t move him, it’ll certainly come up again in the summer.

Wow, that Portland trade is a real fire sale. They get a pretty paltry return for two starters. New Orleans basically fleeced them to help them shed salary. I would be depressed if I were a Blazer fan right now. They gave away half their starting lineup for a bag of beans. They didn't really even get good draft assets in return. Enjoy your cap space, Portland fans!

How would losing Ayton for Sabonis help us maintain our defense in the playoffs? Yea are we trying to become the Twolves? Is this all Sarver? JJ blink twice if you’re ok.

Would the offense make up for the defense and would JaVale and Biyombo be enough off the bench for a defensive look/lineup?

Trading away Ayton for Sabonis would be a bad move, if that's who's is included a trade like that. I'm not totally convinced that's who they would trade though.

I could see the Suns trade Saric and Stix for Thad, just so that they can get off the Saric & Stix money(even though they declined the 3rd yr option with Stix) and then pay Ayton. Since Thad is an expiring contract, it makes sense in that aspect.

My thinking is Ayton for Sabonis probably actually helps us win the west, but not sure it helps us against say Milwaukee or Philly in the Finals

Saric and Smith for Thad does seem like the most likely move…it’s pretty meh for me though and doesn’t solve our biggest issue of another guard. Hopefully we can address that.

Although getting off Saric’s money next year would probably be a nice plus for Sarver.

Hopefully we can get someone else for our contracts and add Thad as a buyout
